I Can't Be Satisfied. They didn't do that in Milan. Is it from rehearsals or something?

>> "six new songs previously unavailable on any format" <<

not released before in any format:

Bob Wills Is Still the King
Learning the Game
Night Time Is the Right Time
Get Up, Stand Up
Mr. Pitiful
... ?

maybe the 6th is in one of the documentaries? or maybe it's Can't Be Satisfied in italian :E
or maybe they count that "busking by Mick" as unreleased since it was only on rs.com?

EXCLUSIVE FOUR-DVD SET OFFERS MUSIC LOVERS SEVEN HOURS OF CONCERT FOOTAGE AND NEW MUSIC

MINNEAPOLIS, May 30, 2007 - The best selling concert tour of all time, A Bigger Bang, is coming to living rooms across the country as one of the most ambitious music DVD sets in history.
The Rolling Stones and Best Buy are joining forces to release, The Biggest Bang, a four-DVD set featuring seven hours of content including two full length concerts, two behind-the-scenes documentaries and classic favorites such as, "Honky Tonk Women," "Sympathy for the Devil," and "Satisfaction."
The Biggest Bang will be available starting June 12 for $ 29.99 exclusively at all Best Buy stores in the United States and at online www.BestBuy.com. Customers can pre-order the four DVD set at www.BestBuy.com beginning today. It will also be available in Canada at Best Buy stores as well as Future Shop stores.
The Biggest Bang will be released internationally mid-summer.
The Biggest Bang offers fans an all access pass including a behind-the-scenes look from the Rolling Stones' recent tour, A Bigger Bang - the biggest selling concert tour of all time.
Additionally, the DVD set features full length concerts from the Rolling Stones historic show on Rio de Janeiro's famed Copacabana Beach, which was attended by two million concert goers,
and a concert in Austin, Texas - a highlight of the U.S. tour.
"The Biggest Bang DVD set lets fans join us as we traveled around the world," said the Rolling Stones.
"They will go behind the scenes at the Super Bowl, see us play an intimate club show in Toronto and for 2 million people on the beach in Rio, as well as gigs in Shanghai, Buenos Aires and Japan.
It features classics but also rarities --- songs we've never released before on DVD."
The Biggest Bang is loaded with rare songs and music. It includes exciting never-before-released duets with artists including Dave Matthews, Bonnie Raitt and Eddie Vedder.
There are also rare, never-released tracks including "Get Up, Stand Up" and "Mr. Pitiful," from a 2005 performance in Toronto.
The Biggest Bang features more than 55 songs and footage from around the world, including concerts in Argentina, Japan and China.
"Four Flicks was great, but practice makes perfect and The Biggest Bang is even better - it's got all the right stuff," said tour promoter Michael Cohl.
"It's great to be back with Best Buy, and we're pleased that they have decided to offer fans the same low price as they did with Four Flicks three years ago."
This marks the second time that Best Buy has worked with the Rolling Stones to release an exclusive DVD set.
In 2003, Best Buy released Four Flicks, a four-DVD set from the Rolling Stones that was certified 19-times platinum and is the number one selling concert (long form) DVD in U.S. history.
"We're excited to bring our customers this exclusive DVD set giving fans an up close and personal look at the Rolling Stones and showcasing some of their most dynamic performances,"
said Gary Arnold, Best Buy's senior vice president of entertainment. "This partnership reinforces our continued commitment to bring unique entertainment into the homes of our customers.
The Biggest Bang is truly a world class entertainment experience, and we are honored to be a part of this DVD launch."
The Biggest Bang was produced, conceived and created by The Rolling Stones, Michael Cohl, and Concert Productions International.

Yeah, that sounds great, but they should have included the whole gig. That would've been even nicer.

Sounds great. We're getting close to 20 songs that have never been on dvd. Only one I was really keeping my fingers crossed for that we didn't get was "Dead Flowers" from Louisville would have been a great inclusion, especially seeing as what a historic show it was.

I also miss As Tears Go By.
I really miss it - one of the best "nver played before"-songs they came up with.
This was one I really expectad to be on the DVD because it was THE gem of the 2006 tour in America and Europe.

OK, since folks are complaining even before we have it in our hands, I bemoan the exclusion of the Saitama "Midnight Rambler". However, I have the Saitama vid in its entirety, so that's a minor quibble.

Glad that stuff from Rio is included, as I deleted that one from my hard drive.

All things considered, there's something for all of us, and given that its gonna be had for $30, I'm very pleased with the prospects.

Who says the band wants to squeeze every last nickel out of the faithful? Including Four Flicks, this will be 8 DVDs, packed with extras, for approx $60. Who wants to accuse me of being a fanboy now?

[pained smile:] i'm glad you're glad, and i see plenty of things i like about it too,
but if Four Flicks is anything to go on, in Europe it's going to cost a lot more than $30.
where i live, Four Flicks was around 60 USD.

Yeah, I must say that leaving off AS TEARS GO BY is a real shame. Do we REALLY need MISS YOU, SATISFACTION and BROWN SUGAR over and over and over again? I'd rather have DEAD FLOWERS, SHE WAS HOT, and YOU GOT THE SILVER..... Warhorses, Harder to kick than Heroin I guess.....

Axl and Izzy doing SALT OF THE EARTH from about 50 years ago? Why not just FINALLY release the entire 89 Pay per view show from Atlantic City?...Seems VERY out of Place.....

I'm so sorry about that, with sssoul, but you folks also pay much more for gasoline -- we're bitching that it costs $3.25 a gallon.

I just offered that as an example, OK?

Re: Finally the Biggest Bang Tracklisting (from Best Buy website)

Yeah Bassplayer617, but we pay MUCH MORE for Health Care and the European System is much better. USA comes in at #36 in quality, #1 in costs... it all balances out, no one drives SUV's in Europe either - 4 cylinders, petro goes much further + great train/public transport systems.....

Don't worry about petrol...what about
printer ink...Wish I'd invented that stuff...

Petrol $1.40 litre...
Printer Ink $25 for 13 ml....

Rockman, Mr."X" will once again be smuggling some printer ink in at the Melbourne Airport inside of a big Mickey Mouse doll, I'll get the Mid -June date to you soon, same thing as last time, traveling with phoney family and 2 little cute blonde twin daughters to throw off customs officials..... you know the drill, help is on the way.....

Not too bad.Cleveland '94 footage is a huge surprise if it's true as is the rehearsal from Italy but,why two versions of Get Off Of My Cloud (especially considering the sub par Cloud from Rio) and no versions of She Was Hot?

Alright -- we must always keep the big picture in mind -- the price of a precious commodity. Printer ink -- gold in your choice of colors. Yes, it all comes into higher resolution now. Who heads up the printer ink cartel?

(I was in Cleveland for the Lenny Kravitz number.)
