JUST FOR THE RECORD -- 5DVD SET - Question

Greetings to one an' all,

A Li'l Question on this mammoth 5 DVD set, 'Just For The Record',

I've read some comments on it here before, and, have a question on the music in the background -- On YouTube, someone has put up quite a lot of clips from this set, yet, the music in the background IS all rolling stones songs -- but -- from comments here before,I had thought the background music was some imitation stones licks, some generic riffery? Is it stones music in the background or not?

Plus -- is this set available in PAL or just NTSC?

No Stones music, but the best interviews you´ll find.

I see this question soo many times. Just buy a cheapo dvd player for 30 bucks, and your problem is solved!

(A lot of unofficial material is with PAL, and then somebody converts it to NTSC and then you have less quality video (NTSC has less lines in the screen)

Just For The Record is official of course, and it is a must i think. Great insight into the life and music of our beloved band.

It's probably official in the sense that it's an official documentary in which people talks about the Stones, which in most cases is no breach of any law (unless people start talking about libel and shit like that). I think the Stones music was put there by the guy who uploaded the clips on youtube. It's way too loud on some parts, and I remember him apologizing for that. Or was that the "Let It Bleed" docu? That's the same, isn't it?

No..theyre not the same....Let It Bleed has loads of official music in it. Its essentially an update of 25 x 5, only longer and better

I think theres some of Just for The Record on YouTube though.

This whole DVD set is completely unofficial. As mentioned on the cover:" This program is neither endorsed nor authorized by the Rolling Stones".

On DVD number five all the concert footage from the licks tour is completely cut out.

I have posted disc one several months ago here:[www.iorr.org]

well ... Just for the Record isn't a Stones release, but it is an official release, not a bootleg.
