how long is his part?

Hmm, I'd say roughly 5 minutes of screen time and another 30 seconds later on.
It's not a big part, but I wasn't disappointed! He's great!

Guess what, I'll see him next month for almost 2 hours on screen.

Well drew, I don't remember the exact number grinning smiley but he has a nice little part. There are typical Keef quotes in there too! I wouldn't think twice if I were you though, it's totally worth the trouble, even if you don't like POC (Ok, in that case it may be a little tiresome, cause his part is towards the end of the film).

thanks lumi!

maybe i'll buy a ticket, go have a few beers, and sneak in towards the end!!

on second thought, if someone can get their hands on a pirated (har-har) copy of this movie and somehow upload keith's scene to IORR, that would rock my world.

Just saw Pirates...

I was braced for a mega-long turkey and yes, it's not as good as the other flicks true, but it's also not as bad as some of the reviews I've read (or maybe I'd already lowered my expectations enough!).

Anyway, Keith's cameo is great, worthy of the great man, even if it's all-too-fleeting (no pun intended!). Nice one, Keef!

PS: he looks perfect in the role too!

bad vocalist, bad actor yet we find him charming. I don't think Depp or Pirates need any help promoting the movie by casting Keith but I'm guessing a lot of stones fans will rent this one just because.

Saw it last night,
Keith was great!
The scene could've been better. You could tell he was drunk.
I think they could have given him more lines. A speech to put all the pirates in there place would've been nice but the short talk between Him & Jack Sparrow was nice.

Here about the the pirate who loves to play guitar?
He's great at playing.......Rrrpeggios!

Saw it this evening----enjoyed the show & at parts forgot Keith was going to have an appearance---I thought Keith played his role well---Skull ring & all

Any idea what shows are on the new DVD?--- I was at the Ft. Lauderdale show (03-06) & saw lots of camera crew on stage---GREAT show--Got to vist "The Rattle Snake Inn"----

Just came back from Pirates....without a doubt Keith is the best part of this amazingly stinking pile of Hollywood crap! My god! How far they have come from the first one, which was so witty, fun, and intersting....to being a bloated Hollywood monster of mediocrity. And Deep is hardly in it as well, and when he is, he is very toned down and not nearly as fun as the first one, even the second one! And it looks like the ghost of Speilberg haunts this film with such heavy handed special effects that bring it into the relm of comic book farce.
Thank god Keith comes out with some dignity intact! He is dark and forbodding, and the best thing about this monstrosity.

I saw it over the weekend.

Leaving the theater I thought the movie was a jumbled mess!

In hindsight I think Depp puts in a good performance and also the actor that plays the other Captain.

Keith was okay I guess. I thought he was kinda out of character with the role. He had on so much makeup and costume that he looked as young as Depp's character. Keith looked to be wearing a wig underneath a massive hat.

Lot's of nice special effects if your in to that kind of thing. I still think the movie though was a manic jumbled mess.

My girlfriend said she thought the movie probably would have made more sense had we seen the first 2 movies.

No, "At World's End" is just a very jumbled plot. I've seen the first 2 movies several times yet I didn't know what was going on in this installment about half the time.

Keith was great! I didn't expect him to be such a dark character. I thought he would just camp it up with Johnny Depp. They altered Keef's voice though, didn't they? Made it deeper and rumblier, seemed to me... I believe that was a fake nose he was wearing too. I hope so anyway.

^^^ Yeah probably just a jumbled plot ^^^

I've heard other people say the same thing as you Claire_M.

They had seen the 1st 2 movies and thought that it did not help following the plot with this new movie at all.
