Martin Scorsese said on BBC 2's Review programme that his film would be out in September.
As for "The Biggest Bang" DVD, does anyone think they'd dare to repeat the same despicable trick as they did with the CD, i.e. bringing it out and then following with the same product plus a few extras?

MSG 2003 was shown on tv, and is on Four Flicks.

The show from Rio (Copacabana) has not been broadcast on TV as far as I know. It was broadcast on the internet and shown in some cinemas in North America. If it had been televised it would still not be a surprise that they include it in this set, since the show from Madison Square Garden 2003 was included on the Four Flicks DVD (Moreover the televised shows from the Bridges To Babylon Tour and the Voodoo Lounge Tour was put out as official DVD/VHS releases).
They should not, under any circumstances, think about what is out on bootleg DVD in my honest opinion. Should they care what you illegally download? Just be glad they don't sue you for every last penny in your pocket.
The DVD is very real. Mick Jagger first told us about it at the press conference for the upcoming European tour. We know a big part of it's contents. We even have a cover for it now. It is real, and the release dates have even surfaced.
June 12th in North America.
June 18th in The Netherlands (Which I would think means all of Europe).
June 24th in the rest of the world.

I expect to have Rio anyway..

but to tell the truth, I think some songs in this show are pure disasters !! (cf. youtube and hear this place is empty, start me up, wild horses...) They will loose some audience by selling such a poor performance..

According to me, it was a very bad show.. (when I wrote average show in a previous message I was just to be polite and not too extreme).

How can I say to my relative that the Stones are the best if they hear and see this show ?... I really don't konw.

No. There was a broadcast on all the things sorrounding the show. Not the concert. That will probably be on the DVD also, and I'm glad if that happens, 'cause I have yet to see it.

It won't be the complete show.
I'm sure they have skipped the songs they weren't happy with.

Ah yes, but you said that quote: "Many copies are available". Judging from your posts, you have seen it. If you didn't catch it on the net, or saw it in the cinema, where did you see it?

The title probably refers to the Rio show. I hope the DVD will be good. I'm very interested in getting it.

it was something !

I remember it VERY clearly. I had problems with the DVD. My only DVD player at the time was my Playstation 2. It started to have problems with reading DVDs and games. It was really bad at the time Four Flicks came out. The only thing it could do was play games that wasn't blue on the under side (it could only read games that was blank underneath). DVDs didn't work on it anymore. I got home with the DVD and I put in disc 4 first (I had read on IORR that it was the best). It didn't start. So I sat for one and a half hours pressing the DVD in and out, and FINALLY it ate it. I saw the whole thing and then repeated that stunt 3 times to get to see the 3 other discs. First month after the Four Flicks release I went down and bought a cheap DVD player.

I got a copy of Rio off ebay within days of the show, but it's an enjoyable watch,so an official version would be ok by me,same with the Rio Nat Geo documentary.
I personally preferred the Buenos Aires show that was doing the rounds last summer,a much better audience interaction I thought.
Still what ever is on the official DVD I for one will be very grateful
