Oh man.....that incredible Taylor solo that signs off Casino Boogie, those hammer ons and pull offs!
again, another Taylor moment as Ventilator Blues goes into Just Wanna See His Face with that lovely run down the fretboard
Taylor on Gimme Shelter from second disc of Brussels Affair, some of the screaming string bends make me shiver!

Halfway thru hand of fate on Four Flicks paris show. right after the break in the song with the whole crowd clapping and mick sings again "... My luck is up my chips are down". SO GOOD!!

theres a lot of goosebump moments in Four flicks. On the twickenham show, the last part of paint it black and then the intro to tumbling dice.

also the b stage , I just want to make love to you and SFM. And for me, the intro to gimme shelter when theyre walking back to the stage. First the band and then mick by himslef. some people find that cheezy. I love that part. pure magic!

The 2 first that comes to mind....I see Gazza mentioned them:

-The harmonica right before Midnight Rambler, and the Brussels version is THE best version of that or any song, also later on...when there's a sec of silence, just after the guitarists have slowed completely down the trade-mark-lick
- The entire Let It Loose, especially after a couple of minutes, when Jagger gives everything

Oh and

-When the bass comes in, a few sec into Jumpin' Jack Flash, with those high bassnotes
-When the wah-wah part of Heartbreaker from London 09/09 1973 ends, and they start on that E-G-C-E chord-progression again, while Jagger shouts "yeah yeah hi-i-i-i-i"
-When the drums kicks in on "You always treat me like a fool" in I Don't Know Why, and of course the soaring slide by Taylor...what a sound on that guitar
-The first minute of Dance Little Sister, best guitarsound ever, and those mean vocals
- The first minute of Under My Thumb from the LSTNT movie, with those amazing views of the audience waiting for Stones
- when Taylor guitar takes over for Jagger's vocals in Sway
..this could go on and on

Jaggers vocals on Worried about You, straight after the solo:

Yeah I'm a hard working man! When did I, did I ever do you wrong? I get all my money baby and I bring, I bring it all home, ain't that the truth now?

And also during Out Of Control (No Security) at the start of the jam, Jagger says: alright, gimme a little of that something now... followed by Keith firing away....

Oh that whole song is just incredible Erik! Jaggers sounding really good on the vocals, Keefs so funky on the breakdown...and MT....MT is simply breathtaking! His soloing is sickeningly good on this song...he's flying down the fretboard by the end!

sluissie, very funny, was thinking of that while scrolling the threat. WaY is just a gem and Mick being so happy at the end about making it. Do little happy tears also count?
'Satisfaction on Gimme Shelter' ... and i need a good woman baby.. to keep me satisfied..
sounds like he really means it.
most of the others are already mentioned, any opening, JJF, GS...

Listen to Out Of Control from the 1998 San Diego
broadcast: Heavy rain that evening, "I was out in the rain"-->
Listen to the roar of the crowd after that line!

+ "alright, gimme a little of that something now... followed by
> Keith firing away...."

--> here in a perfect way,
Keith playing mean, distorted and loud before Mick blows
the harp the same way. Not goosebumps, wet eyes!!!!!!

during hampton YCAGWYW at the final 2 choruses theres a shot of a guy in the audience wearing a bandana who looks like somone youd see at a dead show. hes totally getting into the song and bobbing his head right along with charlie and ernie watts playing and then it cuts back to the band playing. Its really a great moment.

This is a great thread.

Agree with Gazza and Eric...
Midnight Rambler, especially Brussell's, is always goosebump producing!! And without a doubt Gimme Shelter.....and yes, Let It Loose.. but I also need to add Wild Horses

As far as shows go...The first chords from Keef's guitar
Under My Thumb the '81 shows
Saint of Me from Bridges
Mannish Boy, SFM from Licks
Bigger Bang: Sway-Columbus also accompanied by tears,
As Tears Go By-MSG, and Dead Flowers-Louisville
(may have been because I was cold and soaked)

GS, Shine A Light, MR, partly Sister Morphine & a bump-ish feeling thruout he whole of All About You...
But on the break of LC I always get the bumps.
They (the bumps) reach their climax at "...buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"

Flight 505 is another one as well as all or at least most of the Berry-number
when the rhythm guitar and the r & r weavin' rolls along...

Awesome thread.

My top 3:

Jagger's barking at the end of Neighbors

Taylor's first lead licks in Ya Ya's Sympathy..the major pent. ones before he gets into the nasty blues solo

Just My Imagination: live in 78, Jagger singing like a man possessed, and 81 the nice jams

Forgot to mention Monkey Man at 2.37 sec

How about those "Time is on my Side"s with Sarah Dash and the Winos? Especially towards the end when they would do a complete stop...breathe..then full blast "You come running back.."!!! I think it rivals the Stones version.

"...no longer shall you trudge 'cross my peaceful mind."

The Imagination Hampton Jam is awesome.
Intro to Honky Tonk Every time
Bitch Perth
Midnight Rambler Brussels.
Street Fighting Man ya ya's

These 5 come to mind right away but hundreds more (for me anyway) MEZ

To be honest, I can have peace with an eventual end of the Stones, after I've seen Out Of Control live... it's just a feeling I have...

Gimme Lisa

Just a few examples. There's a lot more:

I Got The Blues - Mick's voice is so intense. And I love the organ solo
Shine a Light
Gimme Shelter
Intro of Honky Tonk Woman
YCAGWYW - When Mick starts to sing the first line
Sway
Sometimes while watching the Waitin' On A Friend vid clip. I f*cking love this one.

I particularly like the New Years Eve version they did from Brooklyn Academy that was shown live on TV, and then during the song at the stroke of midnight it shows the crowds celebrating in Times Square. Great bit of footage.

Ok, I forgot a few: the intro to " Moonlight Mile" always gets me as well as the part in " Gimme Shelter", the movie when Keith and Mick are sitting on the couch working on " Wild Horses"! WOW! Also " I Got The Blues" LIVE!! Knocked me out during No Security Tour!

Beast of Burden-the riff... the part where Mick sings"well you can put me out...on the street...put me out with no shoes on my feet.... but put me out put me out put me out of misery...." and the ending-never never never never never never never be...!!

Who the f*ck is Mick Jagger?

Great thread! I agree on almost every message here!

How about this one: opening the IORR page and reading that there are rumours... about a new tour! That "Oh my God-feeling", just can't describe it...

RARITIES ALERT *** RARITIES ALERT *** RARITIES ALERT

The intro of Tumbling Dice, including the moment the song takes off...

RARITIES ALERT *** RARITIES ALERT *** RARITIES ALERT

And also, don't remember if someone already mentioned it: the lapsteel solo on No Expectations
