What's the deal...is he playing a lot of cheese wiz or is he playing some good stuff like Stay With Me, Maggie, etc. I'm sure he's doing some of those covers he just put out.

End of the day...is it worth checking out for a $53 seat?

We sawv him in January in Orlando and he was great! Played over two hours, no American Songbook tunes...think he played three or four of the songs from his covers album...really it was a career spanning setlist without the crooner stuff...highly recommended!!!

He was playing in the round, not crazy about that. You never get the real impact of the music that way; in my opinion. He did have a great song list tough. I had fun at the concert, but nothing earth shattering.

Halfnanker,

I live in the NYC area too...that's the show I'm thinking about going to.
Thumbs up to NO Songbook material.

no, but from the looks of it, he's been eating too much cheese wiz lately.

or is he playing some good stuff like Stay

no Stay With Me, unfortunately.

Yep, fo' sho'. Along with some other great tunes: You Wear It Well, Reason to Believe, This Old Heart, Hot Legs etc.

I'm sure he's doing some of

Including an excellent rendition of CCR's Have You Ever Seen the Rain.
