I know this. But the fact is that you can book the exact same seat on both channels.

I just relied on the Stadium capacity and assumed that what is unavailable with the stage is compensated by the pitch.
Capacité d'accueil du stade : Tribune Jean Jaurès : 8 544 places Tribune Jean Bouin : 9 777 places Virage Tony Garnier : 12 429 places Virage Coubertin : 12 301 places ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Capacité totale : 41 842 places individuelles, couvertes et numérotées
As for unsold, go to www.ticketnet.fr and book for 4 in cat2.
One of the promotors for the show here in Oslo told me that 34.000 out of 40.000 tickets is already sold! If it's true and not a "promotrick" we're heading for a sold out gig! Stones rule Scandinavia!
Thanks guys. Good to hear. I think some of us are still surprised because tickets dont sell fast like they did in the old days (the 90s for example) when they could sell out every stadium in a few hours. At these prices, that just doesnt happen anymore for the most part. A lot of prospective attendees are going to think it over before deciding to go rather than just jump for tickets once theyre announced. Aside from the most expensive seated tickets which are a hard sell, they usually do OK
To give some comfort, if needed, that's where we are in France for Paris and Lyon.
a) Paris Places disponibles par catégorie ( Available seats per category): Jour Date Séance CARRE OR CAT1 CAT2 CAT3 PELOR CAT4 Samedi 16 Juin 200719:30 50 2 791 661 3 48
b) Lyon

Source : Ticketnet.fr 05/24/07 05:00 pm
To sum up :
a) Paris : sold : 78,445 / 80,000 ===> 98 %
b) Lyon : sold : 37,669 / 40,000 ====> 94 %
With 3 weeks to go, I am quite certain that both will be sold out.
I assume the major market problem is Germany. People just (so to say so) are not willing to spend so much money. There are a lot of even fans who would like to see the Stones, but not for that price. Germany used to be always a major market for music industry. But so many stars are touring now that you just will once or twice or even more miss out. Simple and this time it's the Stones

At least that's something that is making any sense. My attempts (yours to determine, Yet To D... You Think Doom ;-) etc) were all further off. But still... The thread is started on may 1 2007, so I personally don't think you're 100% right there. Probably 66.7% so we're closing in!
... why couldn't it mean "year to date" on may 1st? it just means "so far this year", no matter when it was posted the question mark wasn't meant to be taken literally, actually :E
