Last year, I did a bike ride from San Francisco to L.A. to raise funds for AIDS, along with 1,800 other cyclists, and I was proud to be able to rotate Stones jerseys for five of the seven days of the ride.

I added a new jersey to my collection to do the same ride this year. Visit www.aidslifecycle.org/1003 to see it. As I wrote in the caption for the photo, the jersey looked better on the guy in the catalog.

Jerseys are pricey . . . when the Stones' website has special sales, I usually try to pick up a jersey or two. Got some at half-price last year.

Avoid spending full price ($80), if at all possible.
