From the 72 Dallas rehearsals I think...yes that wos great.

Don't wanna rain on your parade, but I think this is really one of those songs that lives on the sound, atmosphere and backup musicians on Exile more than anything else. Sure, the guitar melody, the lyrics and all that are amazing and definitely possible to do, but maybe the Stones have kept their hands off of it because it would be kind of difficult to do rightly on stage these days. But done live in '72 in the same vein (pun intended) as Love in Vain, it would've been really cool, I'd guess.

Well if they do it..they cant fake it..cause its deep soul...and i think they can do it...everybody hated SOL...Jagger made it a heartfelt live succes the last time...im pretty sure they can do it ..but i know its not a easy song for the leadsinger!

one thing that would be impossible to re-create is the back up vocals on the origional. but I think they could still do that song and pull it off today judging by how well they did the soul ballad "thats how strong my love is" on the licks tour,

and like Moonlight Mile on No Security Tour worked great. Let it Loose would be even a bigger challenge vocally

I have faith that Mick Can do it. But I dont see him doing at EVERY show.

I've learned one thing the last ten years or so, and that is never underestimate the Stones' capabilities! If they want to they can do it, and if they do it it will be great. As pointed out above, the did a fantastic version of Streets of love. Also That's how strong my love is. Also She smiled sweetly, Sister morphine, Out of control, Saint of me, and stuff like that. Let's just hope they will do Let it loose. It's just one of the best songs ever!

If I got to hear this live in London this summer it would more than justify the cost for the trip! I've been hoping to hear it ever since the Licks tour, maybe this summer will be the charm.

You should pick a time in a concert, and have everyone yell/chant it. Like after Keith's songs, everybody chant 'let it loose'. All we have to do is wear them down, it is 30 shows isn't it?
