Saw a special on TV about the Angels, Loved the way Sonny Barger lied thru his
teeth about what happened to Meredith Hunter. Saying he was shooting at the stage when his gun wasn't loaded. The Rolling Stone Mag. Editor who wrote about the concert, back-when who was there and watched the whole scene told what really happened.

The Angels didn't like the fact that a Black guy was with a White,Blonde girl and started beating on Meredith. He made the wrong decision to pull
his piece thinking the Angels would stop, we all know what happened next...

A friend of mine has read Barger's book and tells me that Barger claims that either he or one of his goons (I forget what I was told) at one point during the show stuck a gun in Keith's side and ordered Keith to continue playing.

I'd like to know if anyone else knows about this.

I've read the passage in Barger's book which is about Altamont, and your friend is right about that one of the Angels pointed a gun at Keith. (Sorry I can't remember, if it was Barger himself, who did it.) Whether or not this is true, is IMO a totally different story.
