I wonder, where Werchter is exactly...
I see in bv's list that it must be near by Brussel, but how far?
How many kilometers? Is it easy to get there by train or so from Germany?

just 2,5 hours from Dortmund, i think

Ca. 70 km from Dusseldorf, maybe 40 km from Aachen. I was there in 1995.

And from Brussels??? How many km??? And time?? Night of the show, is nice got hotel in Brussels or this should be in Werchter??

Werchter got 1 hotel near the festival site.
30 kms from Brussels with possibility of train or bus
By car, easy to go but a lot of wasting time after the show.

so marclaff for foreigners what would be your advice ?
to get a hotel room in werchter ? or in Leuven ?

Thanks, so... I guess got a train or bus later of the show for come back to Brussels shouldn´t be a problem, right??? Then, can somebody tell me what´s the station in Brussels where you can go and back to Wercter??? I´m thinking about hotels already....

There usually are busses from werchter festival site to Leuven railwaystation.

In Leuven you can catch the train to Brussels!

Just after the show ? do you think there are extra train due to the event ? or is it more realistic to book an hotel night in Leuven ? or even Werchter ?

Usually there are some trains. There's only one hotel in Werchter. Leuven is a university town with pubs and hotels!
