Stones till Sverige - äntligen!
På en presskonferens i London i morgon kommer Rolling Stones att presentera sommaren stora Europaturné. Nyheten om turnén kom i går. Enligt vad GT.se erfar är detta datumen för Stones i de nordiska länderna.

På presskonferensen i Grosvenor House i London i morgon kommer Rolling Stones att avslöja allt om den turné som ska ersätta förra sommarens inställda konserter.
Det blir enligt vad GT.se erfar den 3 augusti som Rolling Stones kommer till Ullevi. Det är precis det datum som GT tidigare har avslöjat. Stones var i Sverige senast 2003.
Och förra årets besök ställdes in efter att Keith Richards fallit från en palm och skadat huvudet.

3 augusti, Ullevi, Göteborg

Great news! But, I can't understand why they want to play at Valle Hovin - it must be the worst venue used by great artists. There must be other options in Oslo? Maybe the national stadium Ullevaal is busy because of the football season? anyway REM played there a few years ago. Much better venue.

I think there's bus rides from Gothenburg to Copenghagen. We have that bridge and some interscandinavian travel is set up surely?

but Köbenhavn-Helsingör-Helsingborg-Halmstad-Göteborg
is your train route, unbless you're not flying.
From Göteborg to Oslo you go on; change train Göteborg.

I figure two hours Köbenhavn-Göteboirg and not much more Göteborg-Oslo.
5 - 5½ hours with interchange time. More info later.

Hope there will be a helluva party in Göteborg....

Yeah, travelling between Gothenburg and Copenhagen is easy by road. Best way to go from Copenhagen to Oslo is by plane I guess. Sterling has plane tickets from 63 DKK for the 7th of August now...

There's also a boat from Frederikshavn to Oslo as far as I know. My dad is travelling up to Oslo this Saturday, and he will use that route.

That ferry, Kent, has a vary bad rumour around it before... But maybe it has better standards nowadays.
Actually travelling thru Denmark by train is a fast thing too.

Reckon the route will go: Göteborg-Köbenhavn-Oslo.

Noone asked about Helsinki; but there you have two main alternatives
- except flying of course, which I reckon most will do -
ferry to Turku (Åbo) or to Helsinki (Helsingfors) from Stockholm.
Not expensive at all.

I let the Finns tell us about communication Turku-Helsinki,
but thats gotta be a fast story.

The ferry is a pretty bumpy ride and there's often lots of drunk people on it. I've never been on it myself.

For those who wants to look around more in Southern Norway ya could always hop off in Hjörring*, go by bys to Hirtshals* & from there a short
ferry to Kristiansand. Nice town.

* Also nice little towns, but the best with them
is that they are closesly situated to Lökken,
a kind of bath paradise with Europe's best (drive-in) beach...
