What is the furthest you have traveled to see the Stones?

...and let's include those who traveled for the postponed/cancelled shows.

For me, it was New Orleans to London for the Wembley Arena show in August of '03, about 4400 miles or 7100 km. I was lucky to be treated to one of the best shows ever. Absolutely worth the trip.

For the record, the shortest trip for me was about a mile and a half from my flat to the Superdome.

I'm not sure which is actually the furthest, but I've gone from Los Angeles to Tokyo in 1998, to London and Cologne in 1999, to Rotterdam and Utrecht in 2003 and to Rio De Janeiro in 2006.

How about the shortest distance...

Well... there's seeing them at MSG when I lived in NYC.

Also there's seeing them a few miles away at Giants stadium now that I live in NJ

Closest though would have to be when I watched them shooting the "Waiting On A Friends" video around the corner from my apartment in NYC in 1981. It wasn't a concert though... would that still count?

I'd travel to the ends of the earth.

In fact, I'm planning on taking a trip across the pond for a little European sightseeing and concert-going, since I was so robbed of my second chance to see them at Soldier Field 10/11/06. It'll be a hell of a ride!

The first time i went to see the Stones in USA from France, in 2002.

20 kms by bus, then 500 kms by train, then a Paris New York flight, New York Washington by bus, Washington Hartford by bus, Hartford Montreal by bus, Montreal Detroit by bus, Detroit Cleveland by car, Cleveland Toronto by car, Toronto Paris by flight, then 500 kms train and 20 kms bus again.
It seems that i have my part of responsability in the global warming, i'm sorry for that....

i forgot to put that bradley center show on my list- i guess that makes it 51.
