OT: Why Couldn't I sign in today?

I was wondering if anyone else experienced the trouble I had this morning from my home PC; I couldn't sign in or post! I had to re-enter my user name and submit it and I guess I may have a new password now! Why is that?? BV, if you're reading this, was there trouble in the system today?
