As much trouble as he has gotten into in regards to sex you would think that a gay affair would have surfaced by now. Since one has not (and please do not bring up Angie Bowie's claim - utter nonsense) I would say that he is not in any way gay - not that there is anything wrong with that.

The large quantity of female conquests could in fact be a cover up for his confusion. :>)

I think her statement was something like she saw them sitting in bed together from another room. Since two men were sitting in the same bed together that means they are gay? Not that there is anything wrong with that... but I doubt it is a certainty.

David Bowie has admitted to having gay affairs early in his career. I am not sure if this was a true love situation or a way to advance his career. I guess only he knows. But I do remember reading in an article back in the late 80s where he stated he could never love a man the same way that he loves a women. Go figure...

Well, it still sounds nasty.

he's 'bi' in the song? Dont hear much evidence of 'straight' activity in those lyrics!

hardly a case for the prosecution anyway, considering the whole point of making the song was to record something as gratuitously offensive as possible.

Anyway, he's a rapist and serial killer in 'Midnight Rambler', a seducer of underage girls in 'Stray Cat Blues' and Satan in 'Sympathy for the Devil' (1968-69 was obviously a busy few months!) and I dont see much evidence of anyone taking THAT shit seriously!
