i think mick looks better now than he did ever before.

macca looked great in the 80's and 90's

if you asked an ordinary chick who would she bang between mick and macca, i think that girl would pick macca just because he acts with more class. you can tell that macca carries himself in a royal way.

Mick - obviously! There's no contest now and there was none before either. And Macca has no sex appeal - whereas Mick... But, as always, these things are in the eye of the beholder.

Mick of course. Macca never looked good, he had a cool style in 67, 68, 69 (get back) and maybe 70. But that's it.

These things are hard for a hetro Helter but ....I'd have to say.... Roger Waters has aged the best. Macca has THE WORST dye job + blochy skin and Mick has a MILLION lines on his face.... I give it to the PINK FLOYD MAN.....

Bjornulf, this is probably the dumbest post you have ever written. I mean, come on... Boyband...? It makes you sound so uninformed, childish, jealous or something. Most of the time you write good, clear, informed and positive / passionate messages, but this stinks.

Ok, so you prefer the stones. That's fine. Maybe you really don't like the beatles. That's also fine too. But to say the beatles are a boyband, when we all know the term boyband normally refers to a manufactured group who seldom play instruments or write their own songs.

I'm sure Mick can be a 'pussycat' when he wants to charm the ladies...!

EXACTLY Elmo, we need both, what is this rivalry crap all the time? People ALWAYS need to take sides, can't just be part of the human race.... They both look like shit - but great for their age - and both MAKE (not MADE) great music - enough with the competition mentality - it's just a sign of insecurity, always having to hook up with "The Winner" - BE YOUR OWN EFFING WINNER !!!

Mick has a really unique look. Macca looks more just like an every day bloke.

mick looks better and i never got too much into the beatles but paul (as well as linda and heather) and i are kindred spirits when it comes to social/political views

Paul looks like a bit of a Gargoyle these days I always think. One thing about Mick, I don't believe he's gone down to plastic road like Bowie and Rod. Keef's been tweaked. Except his teeth of course 'which grew back in!'

BV: Always got maximum respect for you but I think you lost a little dignity with the Beatle boyband pop. If I didn't know better I'd think someone else had logged in under your credentials. At the end of the day it was only a light-hearted threat about who was wearing better. Nothing even to do with music.

Very wise words helter, i am with you on this. I love 'em both and dont feel like I need to take sides and / or explain myself to people as to why I have both artists cd's in my collection.

In my younger and more vulnerable years my father always used to tell me that too much alcohol dulls the senses, inhibits clear thinking, distorts judgment etc.
I believe my old man was quite right about that stuff. Btw, I think Mick Jagger is the better looking.
