London June 30 no longer rumoured????

I don't know if you have realized but just found out that the rumoured London gig for June 30 has been removed by bv and the Isle of Wight festival is on the list of rumoured dates now......

I wonder if there's anyone out there feeling like a complete schmuck having given one of these innumerable completely ridiculous ticket agencies a sizeable wad of cash for tickets to see the Rolling Stones at the O2 centre on 30th June ??

I did not notice that as I looked at the section where it lists Changes and Additions and it just said IOW added. Strange.

Teletext on Channel 4 last night had an item on the Stones. A PR spokesperson for the band said that the O2 date is just a rumour and will not be happening. Go to Channel 4 teletext page 341 as it may still be up.

that's a shame - i had hoped to fly into london around that time and then make it to the shows that follow...that would've been too convenient. i don't have the patience for festivals anymore...too much waiting around for the band(s) you want to see. i can hardly stand one opening band.

Correct. Just that it wont be the 02 Arena. Nothing definite on whether there will or wont be any London show.
