RS.COM has practically been a ghost town since the tour ended. These websites should know that just because a tour is over that doesn't mean they close up shop. They gotta keep it interesting and still going. They haven't even put up a new video in Virtual Ticket in months!
Rip Off!! its stupid to pay something for nothing!! you get exclusive pre alert for tickets and so what? if you are a real fan, you are always get your tickets for sure!!what else you can get from this site? NADA!!

I agree, I would only pay at the time of buying tickets. RS.com is just rolling in our money, keeping us hanging on for Euro dates which, IMHO, are not going to happen.
I'm still laughing at those suckers who kept talking about holding their legacy membership in hopes of a club tickets. SO many people told them to use the legacy & get front 5 rows in a stadium...some people never learn.

Why is that funny?
Club/theatre shows were talked about at the press conference.

and ticket limits for such shows were specifically mentioned in the terms of membership when joining the fan club immediately after.

Learn from what? The fan club members who got into the Licks club shows?Anyway, the first five rows in a stadium isn't the place to be considering the high stage.I was there in East Hartford without using my code.If you play your cards right, you can (and I did) get the best stadium tickets (rows 10-20) in the general sale.I ended up using my code on Atlantic City but,I'm still pissed off that after RS.com stated that a legacy membership would get you a chance at a pre-sale for up to two theatre/club tickets, they didn't deliver any Beacon pre-sale at all.
As a fan club member, I was lucky for Licks Tour with a couple of theater shows. And a Bigger Bang, 9th row center at Anaheim for $99. With that said, I will not renew...I think it's already been canceled. Click on "do not automatically renew"...and you'll be safe.
The membership was not the only road to ownership of a Licks tour Clubshow: even the regular sale made some of us happy. But the thing will have developed through time: it is 2007 now. (Although I doubt if the volume of members has grown over the last few years).
I have a natural thing against (paid) memberships for whatever, I get a bit schizofrenic of being member of too many things at the same time. But the thought of presale advantages for an eventual Paradiso show weekens my membershipresisting knees, I have to admit.
So to be honest, I've been condidering becoming a RS.com-member. But on the other side: to be a legacy member for the ticketsale in december 2005, you had to be a member since some months earlier, right? So becoming a member now, won't do me any good, will it? Al thoughts appreciated... Even about my hypocritical attitude... ;-)
I used my code for a show that was cancelled. Does that mean that i will have to buy a new membership or am i going to be able to get a new code if a new tour starts?
Yeah Gerhard, for stadiumshows there is no problem. But all help is appreciated if clubshows are indeed going to happen, even help from the fashionwharehouse that is called RS.com...

But now it's not mentioned anymore. I can't even find the rules, where they describe how many tickets one can buy. It used to be 4 for shows, 2 for clubs..
They modified their rules on July 21, 2006.
Maybe it's not possible to buy tickets for a club.
Anyway, the only chance to profit from the benefits of a membership, is to become a member before the announcement of the tour, ie before you know for certain if there will be clubshows. That appears to be the rule of the game, you can't buy certainty. On one hand this is a Rock 'n Roll attitude, but on the other hand there is very little left of a Rock 'n roll attitude over there...

I would imagine they simply removed those regulations out of embarrassment as it was quite obvious after a few months there would be no theatre shows. Theyve modified a few rules since the tour began, one of them being the installation of an 'automatic renewal' default option on your membership terms, meaning that some people paid $100 for a renewal that they wouldnt have wanted. Oddly enough, despite all the stupid mailshots they persist on bombarding us with, thats something they 'overlooked'.
