quote from Wikpedia about Leon Russell

"In 1971, Russell appeared at George Harrison's Concert for Bangladesh (performing a memorable medley of the songs "Jumpin' Jack Flash" and "Young Blood"), after recording sessions with B.B. King, Eric Clapton, and Bob Dylan, and went on to tour with the Rolling Stones."

to my knowlege Russell never toured with the Stones?

also Russell's version of JJF on Concert for Bangladesh is one the best Stones covers ever

For some people it is obviously difficult to accept that although every member of the Stones is a great musician this does not mean that every great musician is a member of the Stones.

The Police too. Nice line-up - Ratdog and Hot Tuna, even. I checked out their website. Might be fun. My niece has been 2 or 3 times. Kinda a redneck Woodstock.
