Has Mick Taylor seen a Rolling Stones concert before joining them?

In one interview, Mick Taylor stated that they never met.

Mick Taylor had previously saw Jagger escaping the fans. It was his only Stones closed contact before his Stones period.

Also he confessed he preferred the Beatles before being hired by the Stones. Mick Taylor's sister had better choices, she favoured the Stones much more than the Beatles.

Bill writes that Brian came to the studio after he was sacked and they talked about future plans, reckon this is true? Was Mick Taylor there?

This indeed is a good question ? I always thought as no as it has never been mentionned in the papers I read those days.

The topic reminds me of the photos of Keith Moon at a party the night before he died, chatting with Kenney Jones.

They all met I think..I have to say I still feel so sad bout Brian...I think he wanted to stay in the band...I think of Brian so many times..what a true R&Rler..RIP!

I thought I read somewhere that Mick T. stopped by Olympic (probably with Mayall?) during the Satanic Majesties sessions and that Brian was there.

I could be making that up, though.

Who's to say they didn't meet in a night club or something like that? I guess they'd be less likely to remember this than a meeting in a studio. I've read a Keith interview when he claims he doesn't remember meeting Jim Morrison, yet admits they may have met in a club.

I think Mick Talyor once said that until Beggars Banquet, he was not really a fan of the band. I, too had read the comments about favoring the Beatles.
