A very old jeans my wear out T-shirt of Marianne Faithful "20th Century Blues" and some old tennis shoes, did some house refurbishing today.

In what part of the world are they called "pyjamas"? I think I prefer that spelling and pronunciation to the crass, flat "pajamas."

well, i'm here in chicago but i know i've seen that spelling before. according to wikipedia:

The word "pyjama" was incorporated into the English language from Hindustani (the progenitor language of modern-day Urdu and Hindi). The word originally derives from the Persian word پايجامه Payjama meaning "leg garment."
