This one is addictive!

I could play the opening riff for ages and ages and ages

It's a piece of pure beauty!

AND the winos were one hell of a band!

How do you play that? I found this online:

INTRO: A AM7 D Ddim E - 2x's

But that doesn't really sound right.

It's played like this:

A - Amaj9 - D - FdimAddF

The Amaj9 chord is:

X
1
2
X
X
X

The FdimAddF or (Fdim/F, Fdim) is:

1
X
1
X
X
1

Thanks Mathijs, forgot all about that. I remember that sometimes I substitute the A for Asus2 and the D for Dmaj7, but I think both sound fine.

Asus2:

Fantastic song!

Oddly enough, I heard the live version only last night during a series 3 edition of the Sopranos.

This is the best of his torched songs. This was always one I wished he would have saved for the Stones.

Probably Keith's best solo song.

I have to confess, I haven't played TIC for a little while, but from memory, this version doesn't sound much different from how I remember the album version. Where is it different?

i noticed some subtle things - like keith doesn't hold his notes (vocals) at the beginning as long as he does on the album. the instruments at the beginning seem a little stripped down too...

yeah, little queenie, this one sounds a little more polished over and abbreviated.

Still delicious, though!

I haven't played the original in ages, but the intro sounded different, and especially the ending was different. The horns were orchestrated in an other way, and the vocals were different on the last strophe.

Hey Guitar Players...the third D chord is a Dmajor7 played in the second position...play it like this and you will be playing it like Keith
