I've never really seen a list of people's favorite keyboardists....so I guess I'll ask you all who you think is best?

My personal favorite is Danny Federici of the E Street Band....

Good call JJFlash88 but you'll agree Roy Bittan takes some beating.

Although best known as a bassist and string arranger John Paul Jones is a very accomplished player.

Lukester - good call on our southern rock boys - Chuck L. (what's he doing now?), Billy P., a the relatively unknown Taz from Charlie Daniels' excellent band.

I'd rather have any of them than, say, Rick Wakeman's or Keith Emerson's overblown asses any day.

jjf88, I like "Phantom" Dan, too. "Professor" Roy is damn good, too.

Let's don't forget the forefathers - Jerry Lee, Little Richard, Fats, etc.

Nuthin wrong with the Southerners...
Ol' Leon Russel aint too bad a keyboardist either...
Still Mr Lord is my keyboard God.
Hard to beat his electric feel ("Lazy", for a starter) & elephant crescendo's.
But thats also because I'm a severe Hammond freak!

Lukester, if the setlist is anything like the last one you posted, it should be excellent.

Dave Greenfield-The Stranglers. Perhaps not one for the purists but also a great arranger.
