Just got back from seeing TOM PETTY in the second row in a very small theater...Actually it was a Roger McGuinn concert, but Petty joined him for 2 songs.

I'm excited about this one Bluz. One of the few bands I've never seen before. At my favorite venue on a Sat night. The moon and the stars aligned just right. That's pretty much what'll take to get me out to shows in the future.

Well I haven't been to a gig in a few months. i did my chemo and had my surgery, unfortunately there was complications and i had to be rushed in for 2 emergency procedures. in hospital ( most intensive care for nearly 12 weeks in all) home now and recovering slowly, still not up to a standing gig. thanks to all here who offered support.

Hoping to go see the Vaselines and of march at the Forum but I just go me tickets for MoTT The HoPPle had tickets for them in Ireland when i was a wee nipper but the cancelled after the Showband bombing. The almost did an in-store a few years back at Virgin Tott Crt Rd. to launch box set, they even pulled the racks back and set up the stage, but pulled out at final moment and just signed stuff.
