According to Charlie, the two of them both play drums on "Flip the Switch". Wait, no - I believe that was Jim Keltner he was talking about.

"Best known as John Cougar Mellencamp's drummer, Aronoff has also played with the likes of
Jefferson Airplane, Iggy Pop, Bob Dylan, Indigo Girls, Bob Seger, Meat Loaf, Travis Tritt, Celine Dion and Ricky Martin.
Aronoff plays a bucket on the Stones' Already Over Me (1997). He subsequently played drums
on some of the tracks on Mick's album Goddess in the Doorway (2001)."

Here's Kenny playing with his current band...the BoDeans.
This is a shot I took at their free rooftop concert in Mlwaukee (Pabst Theater).
I was on the rooftop across the street.

Kenny's on the left (obviously)

He also was (still is?) the drummer for JC Fogerty when he goes on the road.

He gets around.
I'm not a musician....but i heard kenny interviewed on the radio. he was
asked how his drumming style is unique. i think he said
he drums as if his beat were the lead vocals. make sense?

Wow--Neo Con--you took that from the roof across the street? Well done. Btw Love Milwaukee--been there a couple of times on business and had a blast every time. Miller Park is amazing some other great places near water (lake) that is part of a park in a real nice part of town that was simply beautiful.

Always liked his drumming with Mellencamp. He also played with Smashing Pumpkins for a bit and also has filled in on the David Letterman show.

one drummer...so many bands. makes you wonder why? is he difficult to get along with?

I do not think that is the problem at all. He is like a free agent. He s in a position where he can choose who he wants to play with. Playing with different people keeps it interesting. He is one of the more sounder drummers around in any genre. Good for him.
