If rome will happen, and if it will be the only show in italy, I believe it will be at stadio olimpico, 70,000 people, not at the flaminio. rome is very close to naples, bari and from sicily (4 milions people living there) it is not as far as milano. and even if you live in the north of italy, in 5-6 hours you can get there.

Rome or Naples? Both beautiful but I guess you mean Rome

Hi Harm, I'm from Naples, and I'm aware of all the fuss been raised by the press about Naples, but trust me: to see a rock concert, Naples ain't any more dangerous than any other city in Europe, at least as long as you don't dare to hang around with your rolex on... If the Stones come back to Naples (they played here in 1982, but , it would be a HUGE party for sure!!! Of course, also Rome would be so much fun!
i was in naples last summer when on my first failed stones europe tour - and during the world cup craziness - crossing the street was dangerous after they won the semi-final (or whatever it was called).

Maybe at Stadio San Paolo, where they played in '82.
Wild Slivovitz, i hope for population of Naples justifying a postulate: that people who love Diego Maradonna "are dying" for the Stones too!! Like Argentinians- you know...
Anyway, Italy on 2007 tour's map does make sense. The Stones did only two Milano gigs in the last 16 years. Rome is waiting since 1990, Naples since 1982. The line "Italy- Athens- Zagreb- Balgrade" seems logical. And interesting, too.
Stickydion, here in naples EVERYBODY loves Diego Maradona for sure: we know who he really is, and we really don't give any credit to all the bullshit that most press usually says about him... as far as the Stones are concerned, however, I have to say that I've met manymany more Stones' fans in Milan, where I've been living for a short time.
Hope we know sure because I don't know if I should spent my money or keep them for the Stones. Why are they so late?Have you heard anything for Athens except the fact that is logical to come here?
