Halifax 2006. Miserable downpour!
Chicago, Soldiers Field, 2006. Colder than a well-digger's ass!

Madrid 1982 is very funny, the big balloon-bouquetts are flat down to the stagefloor because of the wind.
West Palm Beach 1969 was very cold too.

How many times have you seen them?

I suppose the worst weather for the fans is when it pisses it down with rain
...but the worst weather for the band must surely be the kind of icy cold that met them in Chicago this year, because it makes it genuinely difficult to play and perform.

Right! The show of my life!!!! Nobody seemed to care for the rain. Largest show in Holland ever. 86,000 people. Afterwards the field was all mud. Gonna play the boot right now!

For me it was Paris Longchamps July, 1st 1995 (Thunderstorm and heavy rain).
This was for me the worst wheather conditions of my 55 Stones shows.

>> my puny 3 <<

hey! your 3 ain't "puny", Kent - all three of 'em are the Rolling Stones!

the worst weather at a concert i was at was prague 90 (pouring rain,
except for when it turned off like a faucet for exactly as long as Mick had to be on top of the tower
launching - what else - Sympathy for the Devil). the heat in milano this year was pretty spectacular too,
but of course it didn't matter none, either time.

Always been lucky with the weather when Stones play outdoor. Worst I cant think of must have been Twick 1 this summer, but the rain stopped before the concert, so I can't really think of any "worst" weather on a stones show.

yeah that was a very wet one. When the UK dates were postponed, it was a real\panic trying to make alternative arrangements and we got our tickets thanks to a Dutch volleyball team having a last drink inScotland before flying home. This was my partner's first Stones show and boy was it muddy. Had a forewarning of the rain in Amsterdam a couple of days before - apparently it was the tail end of a hurricane and I remember very purple skies at the Hague.

I was lucky at Longchamps - went to the sun drenched gig the day before and spent the rainy evening in a wonderful Paris restaurant with good friends..didn't get into the Olympia, though.

Yup, Chicago, Soldier Field, October 11 of this year. The cold rally affected Keith...I truly though he looked like he had been the victim of a stroke (though after seeing him in later vidoes from other cities I figure it was the cold affectinghis arthritis)

Brrrrrr.....

It rained VERY hard but at least it was warm. Mick really kicked it up a notch for that one!

gengiant90 & inopeng-I gotta agree with both of you...it was DAMN cold that night at Soldier Field but also very memorable. I too was very concerned about Keith that night but am glad to see it seemed to be the weather and nothing else that was holding him back. I can't imagine any worse weather than that for an outdoor show.

Soldier Field responses sound like perfect weather for the upcoming Bears playoff games!! Any Chicagoans on this board been to a Bears game?

DGA35-yes, many of them. My worst ever was a January I think of 1991 playoff game against the Cowboys. It was so cold the beer was practically freezing. It took forever to get in & out of the johns because everybody was staying in there just to warm up.

JJK:

Edmonton '97 was pretty chilly, but it was dry and no wind, so it wasn't too bad. The band was mighty bundled up however

Yes, The Hague 98 was terrible weatherwise - but they put on a great show. I also remember one of the Munich shows in 1990 which were wet wet wet.

San Diego, Feb 3rd 1998, I think. It rained like I have never seen in rain in California and everyone in the stadium were prepared except me and a few models. Everyone there looked like the cover for Gorton's fish products. I mean, everyone had on their yellow slickers. The Stones kicked it up a notch that night. The music didn't die that night.

It was a stones show in Oakland. I forget the tour, but Pearl Jam opened. Got there early to catch PJ. It was mid-november,raining very hard, wind blowing, cold during PJ. The rain stopped by the time the Stones came on. But by then I was soaked and cold. Concerts in the rain SUCK!
