In the movie The Rutles by Eric Idle, there´s several interviews with Mick Jagger. The DVD version has in addition more interviews that didn´t make it in the movie. The interesting thing is, as Eric Idle says in the comments, because it´s "fake" questions Mick is much more honest in his answers than he usually is in a normal interview situation. Anyway, the movie is well worth seeing, it´s very funny.

Yeah, but don't forget Ronnie. He is also seen in that movie.

I mentioned in the recent Vancouver show thread that Ricky Fataar, who plays Stig, the George Harrison equivalent, was the drummer for Bonnie Raitt's band.

I bought the DVD with the outtakes. When I saw them doing the video for Ouch (Help), I couldn't stop laughing.

Mick did the same for the Weirdly Platinum/Dave Stewart project, i heard it was shown on VH1.

I was just looking at getting the Rutles movies from netflix, funny they should be a topic here. The second one is called Can't Buy me Lunch.

My Beatles-obsessed friend showed me the Rutles. Now I'm no stranger to the Beatles myself, not a single allusion missed me. Yet I didn't find The Rutles to be that funny. Amusing, yes. Hilarious? Mmm... I wouldn't go that far. It seem like more like Eric Idle's earnest love letter to the Beatles than an actual parody.

I was really disappointed with the follow up Can't Buy me Lunch.
