Yes, in my opinion it is underrated... if you look all these top 5, to 10 or effin top 69 lists here, you hardly see Jigsaw Puzzle there... And the fact that they have never played it live proves it... I like it, you like it NICOS and Cindy like it, probably some people even don't know the darn song...

"Rape, murder, it's just a shot away..."

Since I first heard it 20+ years ago, JSP has been tied for my #1 alltime favorite song with your signature tag song. I just can't decide between the two.

Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

NICOS - Did I already mention how cool it was to be driving around the English countryside with WMiller and Erik blasting this song! I believe I dedicated it to you.

LOL!

You know what I mean! Crazy Mama on the Bridges tour was likely the worst piss-poor lame vocals by Jagger when comparing it to the studio. I thought Rocks Off was bad in 94. Yikes!

"Well ya craaazee moo-ma... (pause where notes should be held)"

It was the laziest thing, and unfortunately, it gives plenty of ammo for the "they should retire" gang.

I'd HATE him to do this to Jigsaw Puzzle!!! His young voice on it is perfect, a beautiful way to end side one of BB. I love this song.

let's not forget Sway - jagger completely destroyed the vocals on this one on the past tour....

Only heard it on boots, StonesTod.

But with Sway, he's at least singing other notes well, with a nice vibrato. Kind of like CYHMK, not the LP, but still a forgiveably fine effort.

But Crazy Mama in 97...

Sounds like he hasta poo.

the problem with CM was that Mick was pre-occupied with playing the geetar...bad move. he can't sing and play at the same time - never could. keith can't anymore, either, but at least he doesn't try to anymore...

Never could??? Whaddaya mean! Pop in Let's Spend or any 78 boot! Hell, he even did okay on all the Steel Wheels songs. Mixed Emotions (though not a fave) was always better live!

Silly Tod Goose.

I have always loved Jigsaw Puzzle. One of those things, that is just a great piece of music. One of the reasons I consider Beggars to be my favorite album. Not sure how it would go over live. Espicially after reading all the lyrics. Yeah Mick could not stand there and just read lyrics while singing, but a great tune.

Mmmm, they seem to be the usual jagger nonsense lyrics, only with slightly more sophisticated references

But the song as a whole is 100% stones, Keith's strumming, Charles drums, again Keith's "sophisticated" bass runs ...

Mick wrote the whole song, Keith only plays on it "like a session player".

Maybe, maybe not. We dont know. Some give Brian cred for slide. I dont know, sounds like Keith to me with that insecure, "learning" style. Brian probably played slide and Keith erased and re-recorded like he did with Taylor and Bill.

Well, Keith says it is him and it certainly sounds like him.
