I'll return home in a few days with an airplane. However I might stay there for over a month so I don't want to leave my guitar behind. So it is possible to take my guitar with me on the plane?I need advice because I don't if it worths the risk.

yeah.....but loosen the strings, or ya might snap the neck....and wrap some kind of clothing around the neck for protection......p.s. hope you have a hard-shell case

yeah, you can bring it on that flying contraption.....they might store it for ya....p.s. loosen the strings anyway....not sure what the high altitude might do..........unless ya wanna walk down the aile with it and break out a version of "Who's Drivin Yur Plane"
There has been a lot of fuss going on here this summer over professional musicians not being allowed to bring their instruments in the cabin. If top-flight orchestras have to put their priceless Stradivarius's in the hold or not fly - then they don't fly. I think it may have been relaxed a little by now, but I wouldn't count on being able to hug your guitar all the way, especially if you're passing through the UK at any point.
Ceck the airline's website, or give them a call - if you're allowed to take the guitar into the cabin. most of them did allow it in summer (in a gigbag, not a case), but that was before the Heathrow insident. tell us how it came out - I'm interested, anyway.
