VOODOOLOUNGE, BORED IN ALBANY!? WOW! Shocking! My seat was to the right side, right on top of the stage and I was SO NOT BORED! Were you awake? Just wondering! 21 songs, 4 tunes from ABB including BACK OF MY HAND and Rough JUstice, an incredible Paint it Black, plus SHE'S SO COLD!! Mick was out of his mind on Rambler, best harp line of the tour. I was glad to hear NIGHT TIME in this venue, cozy. I am not picking on you but I just want to understand how EVERYONE I've spoken to that went to this show was of the opinion that it was an A+ night and you say you were not impressed.

I have seen 16 on this tour, 13 of them in the US and Canada.

NUMBER ONE: THE BEACON THEATER, NOVEMBER 1, 2006 (front row loge)
(and this is partly because Charlie was operating with only 1 sheet of the Plexiglass)

TWO: Twickers I (sorry, I know, not in the USA)

but these two really stand out

Plexiglass from Montana

So when is the final tally coming? I am interested since there isn't much news going on now and I have a jones for memories.

Thanks Tom

The shows in central US East Coast areas will probably get most votes, as most people could get easily to these. But personally I would pick Wichita.

I think GA is right with his statement. The question must be best show you have seen.

And by the way I think it's not very polite to tell other people what they should do or not do.

I made only two shows and both were killer: Houston and Boise, with Boise getting the nod.

after the smoke cleared. I went to 5 shows msg 2005, giants 2005, ft lauderdale 2006, giants 2006, and yes the beacon nov 1, 2006 - great cozy venue killer set but my nod goes to ft lauderdale they earned every penny out of my depleting bank account.

O.K. still no official tally of votes but at a quick glance (in no specific order) Baltimore, the Beacon shows, A/C and Charlottesville seem to be in the lead.

Houston is still my favourite from the ones I've heard, but I have to say that Atlantic City show on first listen might make me reconsider. An absolutely terrific performance and every bit as good as those who were there hyped it up to be.

I attended 5 Concerts on the Bigger Bang Tour! Here's My Top 3!
Sorry Chicago: #4 and 5!

Number 3 - St. Paul, MN September 6, 2005
Seeing the STONES play in my "home state" of Minnesota was a GREAT reason to celebrate! After skipping us on the 40 Licks Tour - BOO! The STONES "rocked" Minnesota on their 1st indoor Show of the Bigger Bang Tour. The bluesy "Back of My Hand" plus new Rockers: "Oh No, Not You Again" and Rough Justice" sounded GREAT! The rarely played "Beast of Burden" brought down the House! Plus the 1st time in Minnesota: "You Can't Always Get what you Want" gave new meaning to "My Friend": "Excelsior Mr. Jimmy" whose favorite color is Cherry Red! Excellent Sound at Xcel Arena!

Number 2 - Little Rock AR March 9, 2006
Driving 850 miles from Minnesota to Arkansas had it's rewards. The second last Show (not counting the Beacon) of the Winter-Spring 2006 Tour. A great setlist with "Dead Flowers", "Get Off of My Cloud" plus the BEST LIVE version of "Satisfaction" I've ever heard. Loved Keith's "scorching intro"! Seeing the band walk thru the Peabody Hotel and Partying the night before with: Chuck Leavell, Bobby Keyes, Bernard Fowler, Lisa Fischer, Blondie Chaplain, and the Horn players topped off a memorable trip to Little Rock. Excellent Sound at Alltel Arena! Great Pre-Party at Sticky Fingers Bar!

Number 1 - Vegas 11-11-2006
The smallest arena plus the top ticket price = the BEST SOUNDING CONCERT of the Tour! From the opening notes of "Start Me Up" the soundman was dialed in at 10!"She Was Hot" (was HOT) "Streets of Love" was COOL! The show was extra special as Fans did not know? Mick Jagger's Father Joe had just passed away. Mick and the band played a show for the ages: In memory of Joe Jagger! My 14 year old daughter is "Officially a STONES Fan" for Life!

Bring on 2007!

Don
