was going to make a few road trip's to ohio and chicago but something alway's seems to come up you know?

i went a couple of long, long spells without seein em.........after '78, didnt see em again until '94 ('cause the Voodoo put a spell on me).....and then, the next time was in '05 ('cause i got a bang outta the bang)

I haven't see them and the funny thing is ,that this is the only thing I ask from life(for things I can't handle).If they announce a tour for Europe I'll save money and see them somewhere, hope in Spain.I even started learning some Spanish

Me. Never. I'm from Vladivostok city, Russian Far East. Missed them when they were on BTB tour in Moscow, no excuses I know, but it was 9-hour flight matter, and I was short on money then. Booked my tickets on their June 13th shown in St. Petersburgh - my birthday exactly, how 'bout that - and they've cancelled it.

Been a fan since 1979, now I'm 39. I was twelve when I first heard Ruby Tuesday, Paint It Black, and Lady Jane on Russian vynil single, but never seen 'em live. Video doesn't count of course.

And what's more important, by the way? Given a choice - go to the gigs all the time, or records only - what would you choose? Too sad I never had this option.

Not enough, only 8x since 1982. Next summer I plan 2 shows in Central Europe.

I only have seen them once, in Oakland 2006. I hadn't been able to go before because of money issues and I was in Europe last time they came around here. Glad I finally got to see them, hope you all do to, and soon!

Bloody hell, I'm from Finland, just a stone throw from St. Petersburg, and I had duobts of going to St. Petersburg or not. I decided not. Now I feel myself lazy, spoiled bastard after reading your message. Well, if the Stones decide to do the gig in next summer, we will meet in St. Petersburg, Russlan? Okay?

Nope not a single time.In 1998 when they came to Greece I was very young,in Licks tour they probably haven't come because of Olympic games and in ABB because of Keith.Hope they come this time because I am the biggest fan in Greece

The great fan (and person) Baboon Bro hasn't seen them (yet).

IMO it is not required to have seen the Stones live to be a total complete Stonesfool like all of us here. I went a long time in life before having seen them being the most hardcore fan in the world (I thought). But I tell you: there will no rush like you have ever felt once you see them in the blood. Actually the longer it takes, the bigger the rush. The first time I actually SAW MIck Jagger...it blew me over! I understood how these girls could scream and faint and wet their knickers. That first moment when they took the stage in 78...my eyes didn't know which way to look. There's Keith, there's Ron, and there's Charlie and Bill too. And that crazy f*cker up front...I have to say: I honestly did not believe it was true, for real. I thoght I was dreaming.
And I also experienced the feeling of the crowd firsthand for the first time. No DVD or boot can quite do it.
This is why so often when there comes a negative thread here, the ONLY medicine that keeps being prescribed is "Go SEE Them!" It will cure all your ills..

I saw them in '81,'89, and 94 after that they never came back to Louisiana since 1997. Thought we'd see them in March 2006 but hurricane Katrina damage they could come to the city, so we were missed again by them. They don't come back and give any concerts here because they missed a state here in the USA.
Really makes me mad as a Stones fan because they don't come to to where i live.

What a daft thing to say. Thee is plenty more important than the Rolling Stones. Lets just put it into prespective.. They're a FRFIGGIN' band. Thats all. There is no such thing as a bad excuse either. Not seeing them live makes you no less of a fan I think its pretty imature to think so.

I hope to see them once in Sweden, maybe also in Norway
& the ultimate thing would be to see them along with Elmo
over in Georgia during next fall.

It was a hard thing when the past summer's gig was cancelled.

If you spend time on internet reading and talking about the Stones and after 40+ years you still have not got to see them and you live in a country where it takes less than 4-5 hours by car or bus to go and see them then I think it is your priority rather than money or other issues that is preventing you to see them. I remember my sister was having her wedding right on a day when the Stones were on tour so in respect of her I did not go to those shows but there have been so many shows and so many places they have visited in the world over the years now that it is your priority rather than other matters that is the reason if you haven't seen them yet.

I do know some people simply need a message to go see them. And some times people don't like to travel. That is why the Stones went into the secondary markets on this tour. To places like Horsens, Bergen, Moncton, Regina, Wichita, Boise, Missoula and so on. They will do the same in Europe next summer, and they will also do India and may be more Argentina next year, and they have even been talking about doing more shows in North America after that, but first they have to finish this tour.
