He is very powerful live...not the show the Stones put on ...but he is very good.

Actually I really enjoy Clapton...have seen him 6 times...but twice was during the "British Invasion" Tour...which was very cool

yeah, just happened to notice the west coast dates appeared today, too. it's been a while since Eric actually played SF - hate having to decide between Sacto and San Jose. But, very glad that I'll get to see him next year.

Everyone: go see him, I saw him this summer and it ROCKED!!

Saw Clapton a couple of months ago . Good Show , well worth the price of admission !!

I had given up on him after he cancelled a show I was supposed to go to and never rescheduled it, which pissed me off, and also I have not been that impressed with his recent studio albums of original material. But I went to see him at the albert hall in may this year and he was great. Great band including derek trucks and steve jordan. Great setlist as well.

Looks like he rather play his hometown of Columbus, Ohio than Cleveland or Pittsburgh. I guess he likes to drive himself to the Columbus gigs.

Just watched the 89 video of the Stones in Atlantic City...Clapton joins them on stage for Little Red Rooster.

Trucks blows Haynes (not Hayes) away - Warren will be the first to tell you that, too...in fact, he has said it. I love both guys, but Derek is something truly special....best slide player since Duane, maybe better.....

DT is amazing. The currnet line up is the only one I've seen, w/ WH & DT. They both blow away 'God'. As did Duane. As does Dickey, for that matter.

was just listening to Dickey's solo album (first one after he got the boot) the other day. He's certainly lost some of his chops and his voice is pretty much shot to hell these days. But, it's not a bad listen....

I saw him a year or two ago in Buffalo with the late great Billy Preston on keyboards.

Be interesting to see if Derek Trucks stays with EC on the US dates in March.

March is when the ABB do their annual run of 2 or 3 weeks worth of shows at the Beacon in NYC.
