I can think of these:

The scream at the beginning of The Beatles' "Revolution" (single version)
Roger Daltrey following the quiet interlude in "Won't Get Fooled Again"

"The Girl Can't Dance" - Bunker Hill...old black rock'n'roll song that starts out with a startling scream....1st time i gave it a listen it scared the shit outta me.......Mick's long scream during the middle of "Midnight Rambler" in the Ladies & Gents movie.....and Iggy's opening scream to "T.V. Eye"...sounds like he's falling off a cliff

Mick Midnight Rambler Live from Ladies and Gentlemen...
Daltry the end of Love Reign O'er Me
McCartney- End of Monkberry Moon Delight (great song about his home grown pot!)
McCartney-Maybe I'm Amazed live off of Back in the World Again, at the end...

Ive have this lenon CD someone burned for me. and theres a song on it, I dont know the title where He screams ( I think these are the words, not exaclty sure) "Mommy please come home....Daddy Dont Go...) as the track gets softer and fades out, hes actually screaming louder and louder. Its really intense. It gives you the feeling that the louder he screems, the less he's being heard.

anyways, gotta stopp chatting on here got a Mid term to write!

For me Daltrey's scream on Won't Get Fooled Again will never be topped in terms of pure power.

In terms of pure coolness---Mick at the end of Rock's Off

I agree with lennon on cold turkey, great. My personal favorite would be Sammy Hagar. Take your pick, Red, or Rock the Nation in particular.

Jim Morrison lets out this strangled yelp going into the last verse of "LA Woman"; when it kicks back in with the beat. This weird kind of "Yeah".
Fee Waybill on "Mondo Bondage".
James Brown in "Mother popcorn" is out of this world.
Maybe the girl in "The Great Gig in the Sky".
Joe Strummer in "The Right Profile".

"...no longer shall you trudge 'cross my peaceful mind."

It's Lennon alright and was the final take at three in the morning and he was toast! Great screaming/singing on that one.
Yeah, and I agree with Mother Popcorn! God how could I forget the Godfather!!!! Another great one is I Feel Good!

Mother as well. Great call, and very nicely written about the fade out and how he gets louder like no one is listening or cares....

How about the "1, 2, 3, 4!! at the beginning of I Saw Her Standing There (it sounds like he is saying @#$%&!)

Won't Get Fooled Again, but the live version off The Kids Are Alright!!!! Blows out the woofer!

And Janis on Ball and Chain, and Down On Me at the end, whew, gotta listen to this stuff now at work!!!!
