I saw JJ's live 25 years ago. That was at guitar shop!
Albert Lee was on guitar and Nicolette Larson was backup singer.
I had chat a bit with Albert Lee about Eric Clapton in front of the dressing room.
He was a kind of far out.

Sounds like an awesome experience---is that "far out" in a good way or bad way?

Both.

Anyway He was good.
If my memory is correct, he also did a fine job with Rory Gallagher at Jerry Lee Lewis session.

Yes he did, he worked with lots and lots of people, it's one of the most gequested musicians around with his signature style. (for instance he toured with Emmylou Harris' Hot Band for a few years where he was the main man, The Crickets, Joe Cocker, and is the bandleader for the Everly Brothers for years and years...)

Albert Lee has also played extensively in Wyman's Rhythm Kings. He was with Bill when I caught the act in Dublin in '04....
