So let's all put our money together (all the members of this board) and for only 5 million Dollars the Stones will play our own club show, just for us! I'll arrange a nice club in Vienna... Susan

how about my back yard. In Sweet "Richmond" Virginia!!!
How about Royal Albert Hall in London, which holds 5,000 people or so. Gorgeous place, fine accoustics and Stones might give us a special rate if we let them do another DVD there.
If this was a Kiss site Gene would already be here saying "show me the money". For $4.000 more Ill get the cat out the gutter and space ace out the hemisphere!
How about if WE set the concert up on a platform right in front of the Eiffel Tower - we provide the amps, PA, Harmonicas, and bottled water. Then the big grassy area that stretches for blocks can be where we all sit. They probably won't charge that much if they just have to bring a few guitars and Charlie's Drum kit. I see this as really workable. Put it on Pay per view "Rock "n" Rollin' Stones Power Live at the Tower". We get to pick half the set list and they ONLY get 4 warhorses, Maybe 5....yeah, this is really coming together (kinda like THE DUDE'S rug/carpet brought the room together in the BIG LEBOWSKI)
If 5,000 fans paid $1,000,- dollars apiece this could happen. How about 2 for the price of 1? We ask the Stones to do 2 private shows...one in New York and one in London. 2,500 seats in NY. 2,500 seats in London. They get $5,000,000.- and have to play the 2 shows. From that amount they have to pay the roadies, the travel, the insurance, the venue...etc. A flat 5 million for 2 shows. The Stones can keep the profits after their expenses. But they give us 2 shows. One in NY. One in London. No stage props needed nor desired. Pure Stones with no distractions. Proceeds from the DVDs and Film and CD [if any are produced] can be split up between the fans and the Stones. All profits from these products going to charity - or local orphanages. The ultimate revenue-sharing scheme. And good karma too. Every fan that pays one grand gets a ticket. No scalpers or brokers or such parasites allowed. No re-selling allowed. No arbitrage to ruin the karma...keep the rats out. And those that can afford it can get tickets for both shows. This can be done. Count me in. For both shows.
Diamond rings, Vaseline, you gave me disease, well, I lost a lot of love over you.
Would it be truly be possible for a group of fans to get together and negotiate a deal with the Stones for one or two private performances? And how would we determine the feasability of a few thousand fans from around the world, being able to put up that kind of money and able to travel at the same time? It would take a lot of long range planning, obviously, as many people need upwards of several months or even a year for overseas travel. Assuming that tickets would be limited to members of a few internet message boards, it may already be too late to arrange for something even at the end of the rumoured Euro tour this summer. I love this idea Susan has, and I wouldn't hesitate to participate, but if this can really happen, it has to start now with someone that has the time, energy and talent to make it happen.

The Stones really put out at The Forum in Los Angeles. a venue where they feel very comfortable and havee played some of their best shows. 20,000 seats. All of us contributors could have the best seats on the floor.
I'm still pushing Royal Albert Hall for the UK/European gig With Wyman on bass.
