Totally agree. Its like the "Kennedys" thing in Sympathy. Either do the song as written or dont bother. The only one I agree with is Dylan, when he sings Masters of War - he omits the "Im younger than you" line, but thats a no brainer.

He left out the WHOLE line? (Black girls just wanna.....)? If that's the case then welcome to THE DISNEY STONES..... Maybe they should rewrite all their songs so TOYS "R" US can carry the CD's..... Oh, Scorcese better start re - editing TAXI DRIVER too.... Someone dig up Charles Bukowski, he's got A LOT of re - writing to do....(we really are in George Orwell's "1984" aren't we.... holy sh*t)....
I think it's a combination of reason #1 and #2. They're chickening out...BUT it seem a bit silly to sing lines like that these days. So I don't know if it's such a bad omission.
They wimped out - just like in 99, I was standing there, shouting that line as loud as possible and people looked at me as if I was a complete idiot, cause Mick didn't sing that line...

3) the line is too sensitive for them to use these days - makes them regret their age. ya know, the same reason that they won't sing mother's little helper what with, "what a drag it is getting old."

he sang it (albeit in black/white reversed fashion) on every version I've heard from that tour.....

on the other hand, we fans do come runnin' back, come runnin' back . . .
Maybe it's Mick just adjusting to modern times and the recent invention of some pretty serious high powered sex toys that them thar black girls just dont need to do that all night anymore......

So maybe they should finally do Time Waits For No One (it doesn't wait for them these days)
.......well........according to several news accounts.......... during Sunday nights performance of Sympathy For The Devil, Mick Jagger deliberately left out the line..."who killed the Kennedys"...because a Kennedy family member was back stage (apparently Robert Kennedy's son)........
They can sing a song in what ever way they like. It's called artistic freedom. A song is better with artistic freedom than with the bonds of play-it-like-you-made-it any day in my book.

i can understand that but they did also on Wednesday...
Good to start a friday with a moan eh? Whats next? Micks shirt a dodgy colour? Ronnies banana abit on the green side? Oh, I know, Keith looked abit bald?
i think the idea of black girls getting the "@#$%& all night" line assigned to them might have something to do with it - it's the most degrading line.
oh and speaking of keith looking bald, a roadie at the beacon claimed he saw the top of keith's head and they are hair plugs - he says there are all in a row. i love him anyway.
OH MY GOD, cut it out! It's THEIR SONGS and they can sing it like they choose and THAT is what makes it interersting! Let's see WHICH VERSION we'll get tonight! As for the Kennedy line in SFTD, that was classy to delete that line with Kennedy family in the audience.
