10.31.06 A Bigger Bang Tour Dates Rescheduled

The Rolling Stones have been advised to take four days off from their "A Bigger Bang" world tour in order for singer Mick Jagger to properly recover from recent throat problems.

The Oakland show will move from November 5 to November 6. The Los Angeles show will move from November 18 to November 22. The Vancouver show will move from November 3 to November 25. The Honolulu show has been cancelled.

The statement says Micks needs 4 days off, so I guess we should assume that those 4 days are November 2-5, making it 4 days after Beacon night 2 and that that show is still going to happen. Otherwise it is 6 days until the November 6th Oakland show.

So now can we finally realize that Mick is REALLY sick and that the Stones aren't just going out of their way to screw their fans over! I understand that it sucks to have your travel and concert plans f..ked up but better than him trying to sing and it sounding horrible.

The big question now is if the 2nd Beacon date happens tomorrow, as planned :-?

Give the guy a break, if he's sick, he's sick, I am sure this is not an intentional plan to make the fans suffer!!! It suck for everyone, him included.

He is sick. But he needs to do Beacon-2. So they just do it and worst case he is blowing away his voice and gets it back before Monday. Simple as that.

So they incovenience 60,000 fans in Vacouver who paid good money many months ago and sold out this venue ---- for additional visuals needed for a DVD. Insane.

Traveling is always fun around Thanksgiving Holiday (USA, Not Canada) the busiest days at the airports in the entire year - good planning. There was a time when they were still playing on Keiths Birthday in December when on tour - back in the days when it was more than just big business....

I wonder if the press is going to pick up on this, the reason Honolulu was axed was due to poor ticket sales....what a way to end the tour.

Yeah, just when I Thought I had it all planned. The stones sun. in Oakland, then mon. night I was going to go see Lindsey Buckingham in San Francisco. Now they are both on the same night. Great, either way it will cost me $$. Thanks boys. Why night just call it a night. What kind of shows are we going to get anyway?

How do I get a refund for Oakland? It doesn't tell me how to do that. I am sure they will credit me for Honolulu ticket. (You know, Ticketbastard keeps some money).

It has been a fun 28 years (18 shows). I cannot in my right mind plan another trip through them after these cancelled shows. (number 5 and 6 cancelled for me). I will still go see them if there is a next time in the Bay Area, but that will be it.

I am very sad!!! It will take me a long time to see/buy the Beacon shows knowing it screwed me so bad. Cancelling Honolulu is just a flat out slap in the face!

I am not quite as sad now.I have a lot more money for Christmas- can you say big flat screen TV.

$350 for Honolulu ticket, $150 for Oakland and $1700 out of $1850 ($150 for cancelling trip- yeah expedia) for honolulu trip. Bank account looking better now.

Now, don't get me wrong- I would have much rather gone to see them! So is life! I know how people in Spain feel now!!!
