How will the rest of the tour play out?

Looks like 2nd Beacon is in doubt, Hawaii is in jeopardy, and according to a Shidoobee, they won't be selling tickets to AC on Ticketmaster, only at Boardwalk Hall. With numerous ticket refund/returns and that as the sole distributor, that 11/17 show looks highly unlikely.

Looks like the boys are looking to head on home.

BV- any inside word on the chances of these shows going on? Or other possible cancellations?

I can't see why we should worry that much. Mick has got laryngitis. Very simple. Most people know laryngitis takes 3 days to heal. Some times more. But never one day. You can push it like Mick did in Amsterdam performing Ahoy, Vredenburg and A.dam 1 all being half ready half soar throat as we all could hear, following the cancellation in Benidorm. Give the guy some rest. He is human just like you and me. No reason to make lots of problems until they happen. The tour is on and it will probably end Nov. 22 or before in LA.

If the L.A. show ends up on the 22nd, then since they have multiple stages, November 19th or 20th could be used for Vancouver or any other city that could be affected if Mick is still having voice problems later this week.

BV- I appreciate the reassurances and hope Mick feels better, but many are suspicious that AC is not available on Ticketmaster, and believe they have no intention of doing this show. Others think the casinos have a guarantee of their return. What do you think?

It was bad enough to spend the $$ on a hotel room in AC, and get the news of the cancellation only after I arrived....but to have the AC show cancelled altogether would be heartbreaking...pleeeze get well soon Mick!

I think that you expect too much from Mick.I mean he doesn't act like an old man but he is so he will be ill more often and for more days than he did in his youth. At least he didn't tried acrobatics on palm trees like Keith.

I'm just GLAD I didn't get a ticket to todays Beacon show! These last 3 weeks have been HELL for me, trying every possible scheme and some little angel was making sure I didn't get a ticket and go through all of this mess! I really feel for those folks who are now wondering what's going to happen. I almost lost a ton of money ona hotel reservation but some nice guy put the cancellation through at no fee! I am making no more Stones plans until this all is way behind us.

I don't think that the AC show is in jeopardy. I've read of the horror stories (and I feel for those folks) of those who traveled many miles for the AC show. But I have to think that they're the exception and that the majority of the ticketholders live in reasonable proximity to Atlantic City. Also, I don't see the fact that the tix will only be sold at Boardwalk Hall box office as a major problem. There are a dozen or more casinos who will gobble them up and offer them as comps to high rollers. Not my idea of an ideal audience, but there will be asses in seats.

If it takes 3 days is Beacon 11/1 cancelled too?

Why does Hawaii suffer from all this?

Things in life happen, like colds. But I don't think they should be playing outside after September. But tell them that, it's all money with Jagger and has been for awhile.

Ticketmaster.com is now selling tickets for the Atlantic City show, so that report of them selling only at Boardwalk Hall turned out to be false.
