Wondering if anybody was able to transfer two tickets. Did they have to cut and reattach the wristbands?

There was a security check outside the theatre - people had to show ID and wristband (and I saw security tugging the wristband in some cases) and then another ID check inside where you also had to give the name of the person who bought the ticket. I met several people outside with scalped tickets who couldn't get in for that reason. I also heard of two people who bought two tickets from a broker for $5000 in total and couldn't get in. Scalpers were also trying to sell tickets with no wristband and telling people that they'd get the wristband once they got inside.

I also met 2 guys who got ripped off by buying 2 fake tickets for $100 without even a wrist band...

I had to show wristband, tickets, ID, and name check on "the list" twice, in the process of getting in. Person in front of us made it through the first check, but was held up at the second one because his name was not on the list. But, we sat in upper balconey (first row) next to two women w/o wristbands who said they were escorted in. Don't know the details, but suspect people who got there as "friends of Bill CLinton" were not subject to same procedures.

Many of the people sitting in front rows up there seemed to be FOBC or children of FOBC, as they seemed more interested in drinking than watching the stones, spent much of the show away from seats, or left after a few songs. It was real nice of them to leave their seats vacate for us to use.

It was bad that the likes of those FOBC you're talking about deprived people of a pleasure they would have really appreciated. I saw two of those girls leaving the upper balcony halfway through - that is nothing short of infuriating. They couldn't have cared a damn, while many of those who could were left out in the literal cold. OK - someone always misses out on any sold-out concert but it feels less bad if you know you're missing out to fans.

I also saw people leaving the balcony - couldn't believe it - unfortuneately there were people there that couldn't care less.

I saw about a dozen empty seats near me, a tragic sight for real fans.

The only way I've been able to reconcile the Beacon experience is that we weren't at a concert we we on a film set, and the rules of a concert don't apply on a film set.

Moreover, while I feel badly about the fact that there are so many people who would've loved to see last night's show and a few hundred people who did see it but did not appreciate it, I take some solace in the fact that the event was recorded for posterity and that it will (with Tuesday's concert) make for a wonderful dvd that millions (maybe 10 million, even) will get the chance to watch.

In brief the downside is that it wasn't a concert, it was a film, and the upside is that it was a film of a concert that they were making.

And hey, if there were supposed to be beautiful people in the first 5 rows, then how did Drake get a seat in row 4? WTF??? Just kidding Drake, way to go.
