Discusting way of treating people/fans...showing them to the door before the concert started.

No, they're out on the street again, it's posted on RocksOff.

Wait a sec - people being shown the door? What the hell is going on?

Like sausage, movies are better if you don't see them being made.

That would be the ultimate injustice. Getting in and getting a tap on the shoulder. "oops, we made a mistake. Get out"!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF is that!

And to add insult to injury, the first three rows are paid models there to be pretty and act enthusiastic. If they had to go for photogenic in the first few rows, they could have at least gotten some real fans. I see plenty of attractive young women at Stones shows, ones who are there because they want to see the show, not because they're being paid. I'll still enjoy the DVD but all this does leave a bit of a bad taste.

Also saw a lady who posted at 7:30 pm that she'd just got a call from the Beacon saying she could have a seat if she could be there by 8!?!

Thanks to Billnict for laying the setlist down here, thought I was gonna get shutout again!

People were let in last minute. They realized too many people were in, so after a while made them leave!

That's true.
I should have sent them a picture.

That is sick, they could at least have let them stand at the back, but back out on the street.

Not a way to treat anyone nevermind a fan who has stood outside for hours.

Disgusting.

If it was me I am afraid they would have had to call the police and have me arrested .

1 for not leaving.

2 for assaulting the poor sod who was told to remove me.

They would have picked you but made you leave the sasquatch that roams the hills near your village at home.

It really would be like a remake of Gimme Shelter, with secret service goons taking the place of the hell's angels. The dog that walked across the stage this time would, of course, be Hillary.

All part of their "you've gotta break a few eggs to make an omlet" approach to their fans. You've got to break a few, but do you have to put them in a blender and splatter them all over the ceiling?

"Hey somebody just hit Mick! It's that guy there!" (zooms in at T&A)

Scorsese is known for his depicting of realism
in his films, so it's a bid sad that he's gone along with Mick and the Stones in filling up the first 3 rows with models, PAID to be there! What a joke. The way he could capture excitement in those first 3 rows is by opening the doors and letting in those fans who have waited all day. They would be ecstatic and that would show on film.

more to do with the film people, I think, but its still repulsive treatment to dish out to anyone. Happened to two women, apparently.

I think this may well be the most artificial Stones audience of all time. I read a post Stonesdoug had made about how the film people wanted a certain demographic of 'extras - ie a certain percentage based on under 20's, 21-30, 31-40 etc...plus an 'ethnic' percentage. the highest of those groups was the under 20's

So now we're being led to believe that a Stones audience consists primarily of teenagers, people who resemble models and a sizeable proportion of the afro-american community. What year is this film set in? 1969? Is it a documentary or a work of fiction? LOL

Most of those teenagers couldn't afford a regular ticket to a Stones show!

It was also mentioned to the "extras" not to wear to much Stones stuff, or risk getting put in the back of the theatre. Every concert I've ever attended at least 3/4 of the crowd was wearing tour shirts they'd just bought at the stands inside the venue!

will the final credits in the movie have the disclaimer "all similarities with real Rolling Stones audiences depicted in this picture are entirely coincidental" ?
