as a collector, I'm amazed at the number of shows on this tour that have still not circulated. Especially shows that have taken place in stadiums. I guess its a sign that many tapers have a) lost interest or b) been priced out of getting seats where the location makes it worth their while bringing in recording equipment

Find it equally bizarre that as enthusiastic as they are, Argentinian fans dont seem to record the shows unless they're being broadcast. Same as 1998 and for most of the 1995 shows

Very strange indeed.

when you're at a stadium show in argentina its madness and your first priority is not to get trampled to death (seriously)...and if anyone seees you have anything they'll take it from you (not security.. the other fans)..

they're not the show conditions you have in europe/US

Yes indeed, hate to say it, but some of those guys are real criminals. Take this example: as I approached the stadium, the first control demanded that you walked holding your tickets. I saw two guys who came running really fast and stole them. The poor girls were crying desperately. Piece of advice: don't even think of bringing in anything valuable.

Point taken. I did see the news footage of the riots outside the BA show in February and it looked horrendous

However, if they had played more shows and tried to satisfy the ticket demand, it might have made things easier

How about Bergen? Haven't seen any recordings from this show either. They played really good versions of JJF, ADTL, BS and Satisfaction... I've heard a soundboard recording of JJF from Bergen, and it's the bluesiest version I've heard in many years.

bergen is recorded, i did see someone with recording equipment, havent seen the recordings on dime or rocks off yet :/

Porto is up on Rocks Off as of yesterday. Taken from an audio from an as yet uncirculated DVD
