melillo, I understand the feeling. I was so upset when I couldn't get tickets for any of the club shows during the Licks tour. I didn't even want to think of what was going on at Roseland when I was not there watching the show. I thought after the Licks tour that I would never get the chance to see them at a small venue. I don't know if I will be able to sleep the next few days or until after the show next week.

I have amazing memories of going to the Beacon several times when the theater was reconfigured for presenting "At The Max." I think it ran there for about a month...

I never dreamed that I'd have an opportunity to see the band in person in that room.

I'll be there for Halloween.

That was a pretty cool way to see a movie.

If anyone wants to see the Beacon (inside), Comedy Central did "A Night of Too Many Stars" there about a week ago, it's on iTunes and you can get a brief view of the place at the end (the very end) of the preview clip, with Jack Black singing.

Of course, if you download the entire show you'll see many views of the inside of the theatre, looks fantastic.

I'm going to have to go into IORR "blackout mode" pretty soon--don't want to know anything about rehearsals (apparently taking place this evening at the Beacon) the Atlantic City setlist or the Bill-Fest set. Nothing to spoil whatever surprises might come our way on All Hallows Eve.

I'm going to (God-willing) run the NYC Marathon a week from Sunday, so I'm feeling pretty great about old Newwwwwww Yaawwwwwwk Citaayyyyyyyy...

Ok, I walked right into that one. I have edited my post for clarification. I would have made it absolutely clear I was talking about StonesTod in the first place, except that it is hard to type and vomit at the same time.

Actually I am happy for everyone who got tickets, even ol' Prince of Darkness himself (this means you StoneTod). It's hard not to be envious of everyone who got in, but I am excited for all of you. I'll look forward to your reports and to the concert film when it comes out.

I've sat in last row of upper corner for springsteen. sound was awesome, sight was fine, if high up. picture yourself at a stadium show in the lower level close to the stage.
