I saw Dolly perform in Anaheim a few years ago, and enjoyed it a lot. Go, but get one of the cheapest seats, if there any are available. Spending more than $100 to see any performer is kinda silly.

Well..she's bigger than both of them, you could say...

Who's Mr. Brown? The guy from "Resevoir Dogs"? :-) I'll be there with my dad, my older brother and two friends. I'll see you there hopefully. Look for a guy in a red Stones Tongue sweatshirt.
hey kent Iam Mr Brown------we are six person 2 from viby and 4 from tilst there are coming , 1 will hope he will play CYHMK. Kent you know me from the Beatles side my name fjb and how long are you coming with the dvd from Horsens???
Dolly Parton has shelved her Vegas image, has returned to her roots and is a much more focused performer. However, you need to be a fan of country/bluegrass. If you aren't, then don't waste your time.
I feel good to swim against the stream as usual, Kent: Save your money. The Rolling Stones will be back. Maybe ol' Baboon come to drink ya under the table too. Save yer bucks for a box full of Gammel Dansk!

ouch!!!!
seriously though, Ms. Parton's current music is a return to her roots, bluegrass and gospel....old timey music, with a modern edge to it. She has a first class band.
I do entertainment production work and have done some lighting work for Dolly. I remember the first time I met her, a voice in my head was going "Lookinhereyes!Don'tlookatherchest!Lookatherface!Don'tlookdown!" It was a moment. But, she is just a nice as she can be and the down-home persona she projects is not fake. Her current band is great and she ALWAYS puts on a good show.

Oh cool. Great. I will definently see you there. My brother Mick, and my dad "flammen" (Boh also from the Danish Beatles forum) will be there.
The Horsens DVD is coming along fine. I just hope we'll be done with collecting all the stuff from all the places soon, so we can get the editing done. We just taped the Dags Dato about Horsens vs. Copenhagen last Sunday.
Agree with Luke & others the lady gets better and better, lika a fine wine. B u t Kent is telling she's feeing more than Stones for the tix. Aint worth it. Cant possibly be.
Rock music (and country for that matter) will be a business for rich folks only from now on, given all huge artists will press the market to the limit. People like Kent & me (some others too) will never be able to see anything else but the Stones. (We will do the latter even if we have to sell our grandmas!)
You're right BB. But it only takes a new band, like we saw with Nirvana, to change it all. I've seen Macca and Bowie too. Hopefully I'll see The Who next year. And I'm waiting for the theater in Horsens to get Springsteen or U2 so i can go see them (My point being that if you're the first in line to get tix, you'll get the first one for free like I did for The Stones. I don't wanna pay for seeing U2, so I'll sit in line for a few days).
To all the dudes/dudettes coming to this gig. Buy your tickets now. Contact the tourist info in Silkeborg (Silkeborg Turistinformation). Last Friday there were only around 25 tickets left. I wouldn't wanna run the risk of not getting in, so I got it online.
You can buy it (With your credit card) on: www.silkeborg-billetten.dk
