Yes. Not British. Doesn't have that good, clipped British rhythm, and, the vocals don't have that Brit sound and tongue in cheek humor. Also, there is a finese to Brit bands, such as Charlie's drumming, not just banging away like some caveman, ala Aerosmith or some other band of that ilk. No thanks.

Do you want a talk about numbers? Good. (A) What about the rest of the planet? In the USA Brooks (and others) outsells both of them- do you think he is greatest? (cool smiley What about other figures, like tours? I suppose Aerosmith need 15 tours to attract as huge audiences as the Stones in one tour are playing to.

IF we need a discussion about numbers ...(i don't think so)

I always liked Aerosmith. I try to see em' when they come to Philly/area.A "FUN" concert. Being 43, it's kinda cool to go bnack to those Aerosmith days for a short while.

I know people are always gonna throw up statistics about sales and concerts and stuff on this board. I really think talking about numbers is quite pointless. I mean, didn't Celine Dionne (sp?) have the highest selling single of all time?? Probably not, but I know that damn song from Titanic made somebody alot of money. Does that mean she's the best? Last I heard, Michael Jackson's Thriller and The Eagles Greatest Hits were the best selling albums of all time. Does that mean they had artistic integrity than the Stones or Zep or the Beatles?? I personally don't like Aerosmith and I think they're one of the most overrated bands in the world. Before anybody decides to hang me for saying that, that's just my opinion. And you're certainly allowed to express yours too.

Tom Hamilton, the bass player.

But don't stop there: Brad Whitford, the other guitarist, always had the sad/quiet Bill vibe...
