These 2 were the consesus of top 3-4 of recent few yrs of hardcore fans requests of songs never played. Now what were the other regular top 3-4 in most polls of never played? Out Of time? Child Of Moon, Let It Loose, Time Waits For No One? It'll be interesting what they break out next for the fans voice! MEZ

Probably the ones you mentioned, but I'll add Winter to that list. I see that one pop up alot. Myself? I'd like to see Too Tight off of the Babylon album

I think that the only song they rehearsed quite recently among those you've mentioned is Let It Loose. Plus new Scorsese movie which features it gives one more reason to play it live.

It's a shame that after they call it quits so many of their songs will have ended up going unplayed

Sure, but how difficult could it be to play winter, really?

I'd like Moonlight Mile to come back. Also, at the Beacon, I would like to hear 'Til the Next Time we say Goodbye. I think that would be a good encore song instead of Can't Always Get What You Want.

Baboon Bro difficult to play Winter? Maybe but I always thought it would be well nigh impossible to play Sway "live" after the fantastic SF version and I must admit, when I finally heard it played, I was well impressed - they did a great job - same applies to "Bitch".
Regarding "Till the Next Time" georgeV - I couldn't agree more - I always sign off with that one so you already know my thoughts...

"till the next time..."

P.S. Our kid is always saying how great it would be if they did "The Little Red Rooster" in concert - maybe they have done it before but I can't remember this one in recent years and I must agree with our kid - it would be brilliant to hear this hit.

No, Baboon was saying "How difficult could it be?" as in it should be easy to pull it off.

Little Red Rooster was last played on the Licks Tour

Some great songs people have listed. I especially would love to hear Let it loose and Jig Saw Puzzle.
I have talked a great deal with my friends about them doing stipids of 'El Paso' and 'Witchata lineman', and with these- ANYTHING should be possible. They sure seem to be having fun doing different stuff on the last leg (?) of this tour.

Winter, Let It Loose....but I would love to hear Fight live!,lol

I like big drums. Drum shops generally don't have old stuff. To me, the second-hand stuff is part of the fun of drums. That natural kit that I use-that's an early Gretsch kit with the round logo on it.

Since they are playing Glenn Cambell, Marty Robbins, Waylon Jennings(Bob Wills is Still King) and Buddy Holly (The Learning Game)- maybe we need to think 'out of the box' for new tunes. Makes me think how it must have been at the beginning when they did cover tunes predominately.

Amazing!!!

I'd like to see Keith do Somewhere over the Rainbow, and when I heard them nail moonlight mile in toronto in a rehearsal in two takes, it makes me think they need to do that one again.

Let me shake these out for you.... They're not gonna do anything too Mick Taylorish so say goodbye to WINTER and TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE. MOONLIGHT MILE would be great to bring back after 1999 but I read an interview with Jagger that he hated seeing all the blank faces of the younger part of the up close audience when they would start MM during the NO SECURITY tour...so that ones probably gone for good. LITTLE RED ROOSTER has come and gone MANY times - doubt it. SLAVE and HOT STUFF are good songs but there's hardly any words. JIGSAW PUZZLE has way too many words for Jagger's liking (Same with HAND OF FATE). FINGERPRINT FILE was great in 75, they've never brought it out again, don't see it happening. I would say LET IT LOOSE and/or TILL THE NEXT GOODBYE are the 2 most likely since the first one is now connected to the Scorsese film and the second is VERY SLIGHTLY country, above average, and still unplayed. I also think SOUL SURVIVOR might pop up but the timing at the beginning is tricky - doubt Mick could come in at exactly the right moment. GHS and IORR need a few more to be played off of them, a bit over looked IMHO. If you wanna go back to the 60's LADY JANE and BACK STREET GIRL would be nice. 2000 MAN would be great but are they THAT brave? Doubt it.....

I'd quite like to hear:

Through The Lonely Nights
Let It Loose
Let It Rock
Little Queenie
Pain In My Heart

I've heard them all praise Through The Lonely Nights and how hard would it be to slot it in? Worth considering!

Some songs might not be 'hard to play' but hard to make great, as Micksbrain suggests, or be unfairly compared to classic recorded versions...MM is hard enough to sing, and the long coda was pretty much scrapped, but it was still beautiful...Let It Loose is so intense I can't imagine it live, actually.
Winter to me is so associated with Taylor (and Jagger's guitar/vocal) - but then so was Sway...I'd like lots more ABB, Black Limousine in between Back Of My Hand & MR, Slave - which could work very nicely live imo, funked up with Mick on harp, Bobby or Tim soloing, a juicy Ron solo, Keith cranking the rhythm - slowed down CYHMK, if you will, Charlie kicking it off with Darryl and Keith coming in next...Also as always want the return of Out Of Control, and Too Tight is a good choice too...A great Time Is On My Side (loved Keith & Sarah's duet) would make up for the '81-82 version. And Mixed Emotions or Harlem Shuffle could certainly be very hot live.

Only recent stuff, we have had too many oldies!

- Had it with you (as an opener, only the 4 stones, no bass)
- Everything turing to gold
- Summer Romance
- Slave
- Tie you up
- Feel on Me
- Pretty beat up
- Dirty Work
- Laugh, I nearly died
- Driving too fast
- Look what the cat dragged in

Paradiso 2007 - Let It Loose will be song nr 8, just before the introductions. They will be accompanied by a 25 women gospel quire flown in from the southern US. The Dutch newspaper reporters will be escorted out of the building before the start of the song because their cold cynical minds will not be able to cope with this insane outburst of positive energy.

After the song Mick will end the concert because he truely can't figure out a way to hold on to the momentum in the second half of the show. After ten minutes of desperate screeming for more they will return and Mick will join Keith for Happy, then they will cool us down a bit with a ten minute version of Miss You. But as he notices that we don't care, he has no other option then to continue with an acoustic version of For Your Precious Love.

... alright, it starts to become a little bit over the top in the last sentences, but hey, who knows...?

Jelle
