Frustrating isn't it.
My OCD requires I go there every morning and now I'm just lost in cyberspace.
I have a big thank you to send for a bunch of cds I just received.
The boards needed a hosedown.I just hope they get this straightened out soon.
I need my fix.

I have also seen that the RS.com message boards are currently down. You mention that the RS.com message boards will not be available till after the ticket contests are over... Is that offical? -- that the RS.com boards won't be back online until after the Beacon ticket lottery is past? Or are you supposing? Just wondering...

I have some questions about the contest / lottery that I was hoping to ask on their message boards. I might as well ask here...

I saw someone else mention something about this on another topic... There two separate lotteries/contests, no? That seems to be the case. One of them is for members only -- the "contest" -- where you are supposed to write an answer to the question of WHY SHOULD THEY SEND YOU TO THE SHOW? In this case, you are supposed to choose either of the two dates at the Beacon in NYC, Sunday, Oct. 29 or Tuesday, Oct. 31. The former gig is to be hosted by the former prez, of course. The latter gig is Halloween eve.

The other shot-in-the-dark chance is the "lottery" which is open to non-members, too. The lottery is for the Halloween concert only.

I am wondering a couple things. First, am I even a qualifying member? I bought a ticket for the Stones from TM a year ago, I post to the stones' boards... but i STILL don't know if a member of their forum is the same thing as a member who may purchase (or win) tickets.

I got to type in a bit of groveling about being a "real fan," and it looked like my contest entry -- as a member -- went through OK. But I was wondering if there is a way to be certain. They should have automatically emailed the members to confirm the contest entry. Maybe it's not too late for them to do just that, if it isn't too much trouble for the Stones' website people. They seem to know how to send me lots of other emails for merchandising and what not. Without a confirmation by email, I want to send another entry to be safe. But if you read the fine print on the "Terms and Conditions" at RS.com, they tell you that duplicate entries are disqualified. Now do they mean ALL of the enties that a person sent in, or just the duplicate(s)?

And since there are two contests/lotteries, one for members one for everyone, can members enter both? Or will this be considered a duplicate entry and grounds for disqualification?

Is anyone from RS.com reading this? Do you wish to answer?

I got an e-mail confirmation for my non member entry.I used a different phone number and e-mail address than my membership.Where does it actually say lottery? I never read where it stated how many tickets would be given away.my official entry just stated after i pressed confirm that i was succesfully entered.
I highly doubt the boards will be down for very long...they just have some cleaning up to do.

I thought I was a "member" by virtue of having bought tickets on TM for several concerts, Regina most recently. Yet, I had no choice of which concert to attend -- how do you know the choice is only for members? Nor did I get to answer the question on why send me.

Yet, I did receive a confirmation e mail that my entry had been received.
