i love DMB, and it seems most of you idiots dont realize that THE STONES are ones who determines if he plays. Everyone is saying "stay away, go play with your own shitty band," but it's obvious the Stones keep asking him back, as he's played with them multiple times. and raoul is right, the central park dvd is unbelievable.

Bob was so-so nite one and fabulous nite two.

What was his setlist like on night two? Was he only playing keyboard, or any guitar? Harp?

Hey I can easily join in with the Dave Matthews bashing. I can not stand him personnaly. But I like him on No Security singing Memory Motel. Which is no small fete, since that is my favorite stones song.

I liked him the times I saw and heard him with the Stones on CD and DVD. A good performer it seems.

I am no idiot, it's just my personal taste that Mathews's and Jagger's voice don't blend too well. Of course it's the Stones' decision if they let him sing with them, but then again, I am not forced to agree with every decision they ever make.

I know many dig DM's voice. Me? Cannot tolerate it and belive the Stones really stoop to include him on anything at all...

I don't have any opinion on his solo material. But I appreciates his singing on Wild Horses and Memory Motel on No Security. Did he drive some audience to the Stones show as I think he is from or lives in Seattle ?

i thought dave matthews sucked but then i saw him at vote for change a few years ago and his band was great.. that day i saw pearl jam, rem, john cougar mellencamp, jurassic 5, springsteen, james taylor, dixie chicks, bonnie raitt, jackson browne and maybe even a few others but dave matthews almost event trumped bruce....

i think the criticism here is unwarranted.... i should be so lucky to have dave matthews open up for the stones... who opened for them in baltimore? antigone rising.... who are they.....

The only thing that sucks more than a guy playing and singing a Dave Matthews song,is Dave Matthews himself!!!!
Yes it's true the Stones put him on tour with them,and Mick let him ruin Memory Motel.Can you imagine the horror seeing this live,thinking you are going to get the classic Mick and Keith duet?!?!?
Thank God we have many live versions of Memory Motel to ease the pain.
