Well, it is just very good.
The only complaint I have is that Keith is playing no rythm guitar - but his Chuck Berry riffs are alright there smiling smiley

It was great! Ronnie a little slow off the start but the band kicks him up tempo right away. It's interesting that Keith would basically give the entire rythmic duties to Ronnie for the whole song so he could riff over top.

(Any serious critiking of their playing only invokes personal attacks so I will leave it for someone else)

It is a great song and should be apart of every show!

Thanks Drake!

That's hillarious when Mick says they froze their balls off in Chicago! Thanx Drake (even though I wasn't allowed to go to the Louisville after party)!

I was real happy to see this song last night and thought it came off well. I remember Mick saying to Ronnie for him to take the solo in the middle. Is Mick telling him this audible on the recording?

I e-mailed twice and got no answer. I figured you were full and didn't want the humiliation of being turned away at the door.

I bashed the hell out of the first version I heard, but this one is a huge improvement. Sounds good. Does have a punky, garage sound to it. Like someone said above, I wish Keith would play some rhythm (I think the days of the monster riff machine are pretty much done) but this is some of the best Chuck Berry licks I have heard from him in a long time. Imagine if they could retain this garage sound throughout the whole show with even more obscure tunes in the set

They had 6 days off. Nothing to do but sit around and read internet message boards. (maybe not)

JJFlash if your email is a hotmail account that might explain it. Hotmail is primarily used for spamming and so alot of servers have blocked it into spam folders. Otherwise I just never got it. So weird. Sorry you had to miss out man! I did post my cell# and several people called to ask and they got in no problem

Of course they read the Prime Board!

SWH is so gorgeous in this Seattle version;
cant imagine how hard its gonna rock'n'rål us overseas in due time.

And it shows how fresh the Stones can sound when they play songs which haven't been played to death. It's obviously a challenge that does them good! This phone recording of SWH reminds me of the punkiness of the 1978 tour, it does not sound Las Vegas at all, and that is probably the biggest compliment.

Lisetning to HTW, JJF, BS, Satisfaction and other warhorses from this tour, they don't sound tired at all.

Thanks Drake. Botched opening, botched lyrics (even with prompter), botched guitars...yikes! First version was pretty good. This was dreadful--and I'm not referring to the sound quality.

first version was pretty good but this was dreadful? youre sure youre listening to them in the right order? first from Chicago was so-so-so (at best!!!!), but this is quite awsome!

oh ) i was joking about the fact that the first live version of swh was pretty much argued about, while the seattle one seemed to encounter general consensus

I was teasing the leaders of the whining party here winking smiley but no one showed up

dude I respect other fans opinions but this is wishful thinking right? pretty good in Chicago it wasnt, not pretty, and not good either me thinks. it was pretty ramshackle (in Chicago).

Want it perfect? Listen to the record. I thought it was great live in Chicago(I was there) and even with these primitive recordings it sounds like She was Hot rocked in Seattle. What do you want from these guys? Jeez this is a tough crowd. What would prefer they play? They don't play ANYTHING perfect these days period. They are a ramshackle outfit at times and always have been. Nobody gives Dylan shit when he changes an arrangement around show after show. Why abuse the Stones for playing something different?

A different arrangement and completely wrong notes are not the same ;-)

She was Hot live sounds great to me. These guys haven't been known as flawless musicians ever. Wrong notes, different keys, musical warts. It's the Stones and that's just rock and roll to me. In general they still put things in the right place as only they can. Why bother with them if you can't accept this? Did they play better years ago, of course. That was then and this is how things are now. Life changes as we get older and that process can't be stopped. If they want to play I am happy to go see them as long as I find it entertaining. I think it still is and I didn't feel let down last week at all and I have been going to Stones concerts since 1969.

Play the Studio version with fake crowd noise and some people will still complain.
