OT: I'm gonna be a raido DJ

Looking for some help from the board. I won a contest on a local "classic Rock" radio station. Part of the prize is a 1 HR.(pre-recorded) show on the station. So they told me to E-Mail the program director a list of 20 songs I want to play. With them narrowing it down to 10-12 I would get to play.
Obviously I am going to try and squeeze at least a couple of Stones songs in. (no warhorses). But if you only had 10 songs to play on a once in a lifetime dj gig. What would you play. Keeping in mind the format of the radio station, which like I said is classic rock.

as much as I love them, for a one-time-only 10-song radio show I'd choose only one Stones song, the whole thing would be something like this:

-My Morning Song: The Black Crowes
-Across The Universe: The Beatles
-Monkey Man: The Rolling Stones
-Lickin' Stick: James Brown
-Underdog: Sly & The Family Stone
-No Fun: Iggy & The Stooges
-Death Letter Blues: The White Stripes
-In My Time Of Dying: Led Zeppelin
-Je suis venu te dire que je m'en vais: Serge Gainsbourg
-Sara: Bob Dylan

No warhorses. I would pick these 20:

Sparks Will Fly.
Out Of Control.
Rough Justice.
Back Of My Hand.
Break The Spell.
Hang Fire.
Flip The Switch.
Mercy Mercy.
Free Bird (Lynyrd Skynyrd).
Serve The Servants (Nirvana).
Stay With Me (The Faces).
Sweet Jane (Lou Reed).
Singapore (Tom Waits).
The Black Angels Death Song (The Velvet Underground).
Fortunate Son (Creedence Clearwater Revival).
Beauty And The Beast (David Bowie).
Still A Fool (Muddy Waters).
Six Days On The Road (The Flying Burrito Bros).
I've Been Everywhere (Johnny Cash).
Promised Land (Elvis Presley).
And of course Yer Blues from R n R Circus.

... And maybe throw in Rod Steward's Young Turks somewhere.

Play Rough Justice and something (Sympathy or Midnight Rambler live, for example) from 68-72. Play RJ first then say "That was the Stones with Rough Justice from their latest album A Bigger Bang and here they are again with a classic from 19xx".

ps. Before Rough Justice play a track by "whoever" then play a station jingle (don´t say anything) and then play Rough Justice. After RJ talk and athen play the classic.. The listeners will love you.

Moody Blues- The Voice
Doors- Touch Me
Jimi- All Along The Watchtower
Mott The Hoople- All The Young Dudes

Not bad frankie. Your list probably fits in better with the station format while still being creative. That is what I am shooting for. WE will see what they allow yo get away with.

Yeah but it's quite good I think. I grew to like it when I heard it on the soundtrack for the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas soundtrack. That's the place I learned about Skynyrd's Free Bird as well. And Joe Cocker's Woman To Woman (How's THAT for guilty listening pleasure)? ;-)
